Wow..

Well I got a email from someone today asking me about the leather parts on this guy..

Sure... its the stuff I made. I know my leather work when I see it. Well seems this guys wearing it and taking credit for the work as well..

I'm not gonna say anything about I guess... what good would it do really? I'll just take the compliments that were said and pat myself on the back...

Oh well...

That's really despicable honestly. How someone could consciously take credit for another person's hard work is down right messed up. At least you can know for a fact that while on the outside he's taking credit for it, privately he can only wish to be on the same level with you.

I "like" this statement.... Yes, I have WIP pics, but I do not want to dig them up. Perhaps there are more parts that he "does not want to bother with finding the WIP for, I'm just sayin'

"okay, I'm pretty much fed up with trying to scrounge through WIP photos for the gems where everythings in place and where it should be.."

Taco, your work is nothing short of a masterpiece. To have someone take all the credit, and they don't even have the proof...I'd call em out on it. In fact they are probably searching all over to try and find your WIP pics so they can post em ahead of ya hahah! DOWN WITH THE STEALERS!

Technically yeah. I am a fan of quite a few NFL teams, but I can't leave out my home team. But I didn't say Down with the SteElers. I mean steAl as in the thiefs!

Well, I know just by looking at the photo the first thing I noticed was the belt.
notice the pattern and the hand stitching lines. Only difference is that in this photo I changed the sword frog to what he has on now.

In this photo, here are my bracers. Noticed the tooled raised edges and same buckles. (although this person does have a extra screw post in a place where I normally didn't put one.) could have also used my free pattern for this with tutorial i posted in cosplay.

The shoulder straps is mine. And so is the sword frog. Shoulder pad and sheaths for the daggers. Sheaths for belt daggers too.

Only thing I did not do are the leg covers.

Taco, really upon comparison of your belt and her's... I don't see much of a resemblance from your Final Version.

Everything else on the other hand... I DO. Sept that she took the circular ring out of your shoulder straps and seems she tooled her own little filler. But I see your parts everywhere else.

Thats not the same belt in her final pic.. look.

The belt shown in her WIP, the leather is very smooth.

In her final pic with the sword frog on, the leather has a grainy look. That is the tooling leather.

Also, my final belt pic was the very first one. The one she or he is wearing was another I made, I know also because when I made this belt I used abit of a darker color dye. I will find the original owner and ask him.

Also in all the WIP pics, the only one I see that he or she actually did was the boot spats. Every other pic of leather stuff just shows the piece done.

i think it's really interesting that in the wip pic the whole shoulder strap is dyed except for the one triangle where your ring would have been is un dyed leather, if that isn't a dead give away I don't know what is.
