WONDERCON REPORTS?

thats kinda why I wish I could be there, I have never "trooped" in a real wintery environment or setting before. It would be nice to not sweat bullets for a damn change. Plus, I keep forgeting that I have friends staying with me here in SB this weekend, damn

If you want a Wintery Troop then come up here. We had a parade this morning and it was a balmy 33 degrees out, still was cold but much better than last year at -10.

Oh and I broke the rocket off of my jet pack, snapped it right off. (n)

Tailgate actualy, I had my helmet in the back of my 4runner. I got all suited up and then bent in to grab my helmet and it caught on the tailgate and SNAP and on went the sailor talk.

I did another small con this evening, at this one my JP harnnes broke and my MOW Rubber cod and but armor tore at the side bolt, ruinning the butt plate. I am putting my entire Fett into inactive status. Thank god my FP armor shipped yesterday I need it.

i did that today too! snapped right in half, about 4 hours before a troop. hooray for plumber's epoxy and wood dowels! fixed it right up, good as new!

You guys gotta be kidding me ... the same incident on the same day at both ends of this country??!!! What are the chances of that happening? Was there a "Fetting curse" going around today.:(

Here is a shot from this moring. You can clearly see the damage to the pack.

As a disclamer I wore the spats to keep the warm air in and the things on my shoes are Ice grippers, I was standing on a sheet of ice and it was betweem 25-34 F out side depending on if you were in the sun or not.

Oh and chest lights do not blink when they are below freezing...
