Winter has landed in Korea!

Greetings from Korea! :) Last night got our first snow of the winter season here at Kunsan Air Base.
I started working swing shift this week, and around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, we started getting some flurries. Which kept getting heavier and heavier. When I walked home close to midnight, it was beginning to stick on the paved surfaces.
I woke up this morning to go outside for my morning nicotine fix (yeah, yeah. . . no comments, please!) and what to my wondering eyes should appear????
It's STILL coming down! Got quite a good bit of accumulation already. It's weird. My last base was in Tucson, AZ so I'm just not used to seeing snow!
These are from the 3rd floor landing of my dorm.

Here's an idea of how much we've gotten overnight! Sheesh. . .

Kinda pretty. But getting to work is gonna be something of a pain. :rolleyes

Looks a fair bit like London too :p I hate this level of snow though... it's just all wet and mucky. Doesn't get fun till we have 4 feet of the stuff, can go tobogganing, skating, snowboarding, snowball fights... ah, winter's fun :D

I should try to find some of the old pictures of the farm... my uncle walking along a snow drift right onto the roof of a shed... ah, Canada, eh?

I remember back when I lived in Texas and if there were even flurries the schools called a snow day:lol:

I'm surprised how little snow we've gotten around Denver so far

Haha weird. We don't have snow days unless theres 3 feet of snow on the roads :p Mind you, that happens pretty frequently. The wonders of being in the snowbelt, eh?
