Will fiberglass resin make my sintra Mando armor strong enough for airsoft?

I have never dealt with the process of adding fiberglass layers to plastic. I have a suit of sintra armor I bought specifically to play airsoft in. I've heard that with fiberglass resin and such, the plastic will harden enough to not tear apart or get riddled with holes if shot with bb's. Is this true? If not, what can I do to make this plastic hard as a rock? Any advice will be appreciated.

*average FPS of airsoft guns being used where I play is 350-450

I think fiberglassing would be overkill and it would add more weight and have no flex to your armor so you'd probably crack/break your armor if you're going Rambo.

isn't a long sleeve shirt or a hoodie usually enough protection for airsoft? i think your sintra would be enough. but don't wear a boba helmet for it; even though it would probably be able to withstand an airsoft pellet, it will limit your field of vision and if you trip and break the helmet you will be very sad.

The armor is being worn for fun, not for protection. A group of friends and I thought it would be pretty awesome if we started an airsoft team named "The Mandalorians" and all donned the armor and helmet. But that doesnt mean I dont plan on wearing it to a local convention or two :)
