Wii help

Hey all,

I need some help in picking a Wii game out for a friend.

He was in a freak car accident last year and is now fairly immobile. He has use of his left arm and hand, and range of motion with his right arm, but no movement of the digits on his right hand.

His wife has gotten him a Wii for christmas, and I would like to get him a game. For the above reasons, it has to be Wiimote only, or Wiimote with just the analog stick on the nunchuk (we can rig up a glove to move the stick, but the buttons on the nunchuk are out).

My familiarity lies with the other two systems, so any suggestions from you Nintendo fans would be helpful.

Thanks!

Chad

The Wii sports that come with the system are good for hours of fun with just a wiimote. Depending on his taste in games, Monkeyball is a total blast with tons of mini games w/ nunchuck and non-nunchuck. (y)

It's great that you're helping out your friend in such a great way, I hope he recovers quickly.

Thanks for the great reco. Super Monkeyball is not only fun to say, but look like it will totally fit the bill!

Unfortunately, his injuries are going to be pretty long-term, if not permanent, but we just try to do what we can.

He'll like it when Fett shows up to deliver his present! A couple of idiot thirty year olds playing Wii dressed as SW characters. His wife will love this!

Mario Party 8 is a great game; it doesn't require too much mobility (some of the minigames require that you shake the controller, but that's the extent). It's a lot of fun; me and my friends play it all the time.
