Who will serve you? An important 501st vote.

Hi aprilstorm. I just sent the Legion webmaster your TKID and he'll add you to the list who will be able to see the voting forum. Voting ends in the next few hours though so if you want a chance to have your voice heard, you've got to be quick.

Woot! Thank you to Bob or whomever helped me get my access straightened out. I was able to get it in time to read all the responses to the questions (thank you to both candidates) and placed my vote.

I want to thank Art Andrews and all the members of TDH who saw fit to go out of their way and lend me their support. Due to the support of Art and people like yourselves, I won the election for 501st Bounty Hunters Guild Detachment Leader.

Art, you're a great friend and I appreciate all you did to get the word out for me. I only wish the two groups would have been able to work together like we originally intended. Even though we won't carry through with our original plans for that partnership, I will always do my best to offer that olive branch between the BHG and TDH knowing that it's in everyone's best interest to "play nice" with others rather than pull inwards and exclude. In the end, all I'm concerned with is with helping 501st members build the best Bounty Hunter costumes they can and have some fun along the way.

Thank you all!

The Friends of Art won....I keed I keed.

LOL. Not at all. If anyone won here, it is the BHG in securing an excellent staff for itself!

I think most of you have known me long enough to know that I absolutely despise the political element within the 501st, but that is their way of handling things and in this instance, the voice of the people and their desire for a leader who was open-minded and willing to work with other groups was very loud and clear.

As I said before all of this, we will NOT be pursuing another partnership with the 501st for the foreseeable future, but with Bob and Bill at the reigns, I do believe any latent animosity between our two communities will fade into obscurity. I wish both of them the very best as they have their work cut out for them, but I am glad to know that the BHG couldn't possibly be in better hands.

Hear, Hear!

Congratulations to you both and may the force er, ummm I mean Guild be with you!
