What's your occupation?

I sit at an office all day long doing follow-up progress on projects at one of swedens Nuclear Power Plants... Not the most exciting work but it does give you the privalige to go inside and pet the reactor every now and then.

I guess that the only excting part of it is that all the projects that i do progress checks on have a budget in the 1x10^6 euro range.

During the outage and we are late and the reactor isn't allowed to start because of us then its 2 Million US lost in production each day the reactor is not working at full capacity... how's that for motivation?

I was an EW for you Navy folk who might know what that is, lol

I then trained to be a chef for a couple years, worked in that while in school for it, a year or so after school, realized Tallahassee/college town is a BAD place to try to be a chef since college kids work for cheaper than trained chefs...

so I ended up in Finance and worked in bookkeeping and tellering for some credit unions and a bank my mother worked for.

Then I moved into advertising programming for Comcast Spotlight. So if you happen to live in the Tallahassee/South Georgia/Panama City area, I deal with all the contracts and importing of them and scheduling of the spots to air, as well loading up the programming schedules they go into that you then see when you watch cable. Sorry about that. lol

Its also kinda weird, because while I lived in Tallahassee, I got this job after moving to Sarasota. So it kinda sucks being reminded I'm here and not home LOL

interesting to hear what everybody does.

me, i am a tattooer. i have been tattooing for 8 years now. i own and run a little tattoo shop. i also do art on the side. but mainly do custom tattoo work.

when i grow up ,i want to be Boba Fett!

I teach video editing (FCP) and run a few mac labs for the Digital Media Department at Valencia Community College in Orlando, FL. I try to help with/make movies on the side...

My job is super chill though. I get a ton of days off and my days can be flexible. I'm only 33 so the students aren't too much younger and it works out for the most part.

i am a video producer. thats whats up.

Chicks dig me because I rarely wear underwear and if I do it's something unusual. But you, When you made it with that cow! I want to party with you. But you and me together? Forget it. <anybody?>

I'm a little late to the game here, but I got it Butterbean....."Stripes"! One of my all-time favorites.

As for me, I'm a technical project manager, among other things. I design market surveillance software for one of the major U.S. stock exchanges, then lead the development team that builds it.

That would explain how you come up with all of the awesome templates. And I guess that explains where you got your screen name. Darn... All this time I thought you were a trapeze performer.:facepalm

I'm a total science/science fiction & gaming geek and I proudly wear my Star Wars/Trek shirts with obscure quotes (to a true fan, no quote is obscure :)) at inappropriate times to my laboratories and professional meetings. But I'm also a good lookin, longhaired, extreme skiier/surfer, and a guitar wielding metalhead:lol:! I love racing my crotchrocket gixxer and cruising a Vulcan 900 around the Pacific Northwest, although its getting pretty **** cold for motorcycling 'round here these days. I have aspirations to be a Naval/Marine SNA by this time next year.

I'm in my last year of study for what has turned out to be a grueling Geology track, but its great to see some other Geologists rockhounding it up out there (y)!!

Lurking for a little while I figured out that quite a few of you in this community are a bunch of complete badasses so I thought I might as well make an impression with my 1st post. Hope it came off well and I'm happy to finally be here!

I'm studying to be an electric tech, but been up to a lot of others; mason, carpenter, truck driver, mainteinance tec (Ie; a janitor), warehouse worker. I'm also assistant teacher at Aikido class for sight impaired, well, near blind students. I guess I cannot make up my mind...
