The thing I'm afraid of the most is heights. I HATE heights....ughh...
Getting pulled under the Big Wheel on Price is Right during the Spin-off
Losing my family and those close to me. That is the absolute worst thing that could happen to me...worse than losing my own life.
You mean like spiders on the field?
shadows in the pool at night.
I did see a lady get her shirt sleeve caught on one of the pegs and it pulled her down to the floor but not knocked down and drug under the wheel.
Cockroaches and centipedes. Oddly enough, I once received a package from someone on the RPF with a bunch of cockroaches in it, and my garage (at random times in the year) will store a few centipeds. So naturaly, when these two things came together, I wanted to kill myself.
I'll never forget getting a package full of roaches. I actualy have the stuff outside, and won't bring it in. It's been out there for a while....
Global Thermo-nuclear Holocaust.
Oh, and heights.
Only two things scare me:
....and Carnie's....you know circus folk, nomads.....small hands, smell like cabbage.
A lonely day...

On top of freak accidents, I am afraid of spiders... and today while I was cutting the grass, there was an old shingle laying next to the fire pit, and it was moving... I thought it was a mole, or some other critter so I stopped to go move it out of the way of the mower... I lift up the shingle and I see creepy legs flailing around in a hole... so I grabbed a stick, moved the dirt out, and this HHUUUUUUUUUUUEG spider...leg span roughly the size of the palm of your hand, black and yellow, came flying out. This thing booked it... I paniced and ran... lol... the spider was big enough to move a shingle off the ground and I guess when i lifted it up it got scared and tried going into its hole and it just got ugly from there... yikes
owls sorta. they bother me. their hooting and their existence in general really. anything that can look me in the eyes and be facing the other way at the same time is screwed up. that and one attacked my brother and I when we were young lol
probably didnt help my father used to feed it hamburger meat.
t_bone that is SCARY! Bunches of little ones?! Oh man
No good man I can do scorpions no problem... don't get it... Spiders are just AWFUL... except daddy long leggers, they are jolly fellows hahaha
Yeah. It's gotta be spiders. We have some monsters out here. Big and black, they're the size of your hand and they string their webs between street lights.....They don't mess about. Then there are the black and yellow striped ones (big) that have a habit of making their webs at face hieght. You can guess what tends to happen (shudder)
What Was I Scared Of?
Well I was walking in the night, and I saw nothing scary.
For I have never been afraid of anything...not very.
Then I was deep within the woods, when suddenly I spied them.
I saw a pair of pale green pants with nobody inside them.
I wasn't scared, but yet I stopped. What could those pants be there for?
What could a pair of pants at night be standing in the air for?
And then they moved those empty pants. They kind of started jumping.
And then my heart, I must admit, It kind of started thumping.
So I got out. I got out fast. As fast as I could go, sir.
I wasn't scared but pants like that, I did not care for no sir.
After that a week went by, then one dark night in Greenwich,
I had to do an errand. I had to fetch some Greenwich Spinach.
Well, I had fetched the spinach and was starting back through town,
When those pants raced 'round the corner, and they almost knocked me down!
I dropped my Greenwich Spinach, but I didn't even care!
I ran for home, believe me, I had really had a scare!
Now bicycles where never meant for pale green pants to ride them.
Especially SPOOKY pale green pants with nobody inside them!
The next night I was fishing for doubt trout on Roover River,
When those pants came rowing towards me, well I started into shiver.
And by now I was so frightened that I'll tell you, but I hate to...
I SCREAMED AND ROWED A WAY AND LOST MY HOOK AND LINE AND BAIT TOO!
I ran and found a brickel bush and hid myself away.
I got brickels in my britches, but I stayed there anyway.
I stayed all night, the next night too. I'd be there still now doubt,
But I had to do an errand, so the next night I went out.
I had to do an errand, had to pick a peck of snide,
In a dark and gloomy snide field that was almost nine miles wide.
I said,"I do not fear those pants with nobody inside them."
I said and said and said those words. I said them, but I lied them.
Then I reached into a snide bush, and the next thing that I knew,
I felt my hand touch someone, and I'll bet that you know who.
And there I was caught in the snide and in that dreadful place,
Those spooky empty pants and I were standing face to face!
I YELLED FOR HELP! I SCREAMED! I SHRIEKED! I HOWLED! I YOWLED! I CRIED!
"OH SAVE ME FROM THESE PALE GREEN PANTS WITH NOBODY INSIDE!"
But then a strange thing happened. Those pants began to cry.
Those pants began to tremble. They were just as scared as I.
I never heard such whimpering, and I began to see,
That I was just as strange to them; as they were strange to me.
I put my arm around their waist and sat right down beside them.
I calmed them down poor empty pants with nobody inside them.
And now we meet quite often, those empty pants and I.
We never shake or tremble. We both just smile and we say, "HI."
As long as I don't see a red spot on a spider's Abdomen, I don't get that scared.
And I'm surprised nobody has listed Sharks. I live in a coastal community, and I rarely ever go to the beach. And for the times I do, you never catch me in the water. I don't care how safe you say it is, or how long it's been since a shark was last seen in the area, I will not go in the water. I might make a possible exception if the water is absolutely clear, yet that's about it.
By the way, my daughter's pet Quentin would like to say "HI" to everyone.
My lil Scorpion says hello.
I'm afraid of the deep open seas. You'd never get me on a cruise boat or something that goes way out in the ocean. Or a submarine, oh god, forgot about the subs.
I forgot to say I'm also scared by spiders
that i actually liked the new star trek movie....nooooohooooooou
Driving on ice.
Sharks.... and werewolves...
And the thought of harm coming to, or losing my loved ones...
flying, any type...humans were not made to fly...if the plane goes down, that's it...nothing you can do...and dont go giving me statistics about car crashes compared to plane crashes either... just look at proportions, not statistics...
Number 1 on my list has gotta be spiders too!!!!, Love scorpions thouugh!!!! (Nice Emperor TehEl1te!!! ) Second is drowning, and I'm not too crazy about heigts either!!!
Spiders. Thats the sure fire way to have me doing the skat-man dance...
Lots of spider lovers among our ranks it seems!!!!! LOL
So I'm guessing that most of our members love the 80's flick Arachnophobia!!!!!!!!!! LOL Most folks consider it a comedy, but I've always considered it an intense horror flick!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!
I'm afraid of giant spiders and slowly overcoming my fear of heights one sky jump at a time.
Sharks..and what I don't understand, most of mankind fears what it doesn't understand
I absolutely love sharks, and find them very interesting, (On TV). If i was in the water with one though, i'm sure that would be extremely frightening!!! Same thing goes for crocodiles!!
Basically any feels of helplessness. Like sufficating, drowning, falling (so I'm no fan of heights either) I also have a severe fear of dependency. Like losing use of my legs, brain damage, Alzheimer's... anything that would mean I would need assisstance, I think I'd rather die.
And of course those bloody spiders. I hate them so much. I hate spiders like Indiana Jones hates snakes. But I don't kill them unless I feel it is necessary.
SPIDERS!!!I absolutely hate them and would not mind if they disappeared completely from existence.
So I think it's fairly unanimous that a bounty should be placed on all spiders, excluding Daddy long legs.
I'm afraid of getting stuck in the middle of the ocean.
im a rock-climber and the highest iv been is 150m on an ice wall, so i have a "healty" fear of hights.
im also afraid to wake up and find my mando bucket magically transformed into a mando-tellytubbie... i was actually dreaming that a couple of weaks ago

Do you know more people get killed by donkeys every year than by sharks.
Also, more people get killed by vending machines than by sharks every year.
AND Finally, More New Yorkers get bitten by other New Yorkers than people get bitten by sharks every year.
I cannot stand spiders either. Whenever I find one, I kill on sight. Ughhh.....
Sometimes heights, but always clowns and dolls, especially the old porcelian ones. My mother use to collect them. Had nightmares my entire childhood.
Losing loved ones goes without saying, I think we all feel that way.
On a more hilarious note (I think at least), my older brother used to be afraid of E.T. when he was a kid. He used to have nightmares where E.T. would come into our bedroom (when he used to live here, we shared a room until his girlfriend/now wife moved in) and get him. It would be one of those nightmares where you try to scream for help but you have no voice. I always thought that fear was pretty funny.
Being a much older "dad" that most these days and suffering from multiple work related medical problems that left me disabled, I fear not being around long enough to see my 4 year old Son grow up... Anything else I can take...
I know the feeling somewhat. I'm a cancer survivor (I had malignant tumors on my spine removed in three separate surgeries) and later on in life I went to work at a warehouse. Due to all of the heavy lifting involved with working there, it aggravated the scar tissue around my spine and caused me to suffer from Arachnoiditis, which has no cure. So being disabled as well, I have something of the same fear, but seeing as how having arachnoiditis can eventually leave me paralyzed, my fear is not being able to fully be there for my future kids.
I forgot to mention dolls. I am terrified of most dolls especially the ones with the eyes that flip open when you pick them up. Seriously, I think I'm going to have a panic attack sometimes.
i am afraid of heights, but my girlfriend and I climbed up the staircases of a tower of a church called Holy Hill around here, and I believe we were 19 stories up...and already on the highest elevation in the state... the tower had an octagon shape at the top and only had about 12 feet across each way...pretty high and pretty tiny..she was braver than i was
it was quite the view
My junior year of high school we went on a trip to New York city. Part of that trip was spent going to the World Trade Center. We went into one of the towers, and took the elevator to the roof and we went out onto it. My god was that frightening....I only looked over the edge maybe twice.
