I know I make it easy sometimes:thumbsup
Well Im happy he really enjoyed what you guys have done for him. Im sure this will be something he will treasure forever.
Thank God he's not your stereotypical actor.
Of course a huge congrats to all of those that made this real for JB.
Perfect
We have had quite a few requests for these pics in printable sizes. I am working with Philip and Jeremy on this and not quite sure how it will be handled just yet (which is why I am currently watermarking them and keeping them fairly low res). Please be patient with us on this but rest assured. We will be letting them out in higher res copies soon.Quote:
Is there any chance of us board members getting these pics (and more PLEASE!!) minus the watermark, so we can print them off, or maybe make some cool TDH desktop wallpaper pictures from??
It felt like... a LOT of pressure! :lol It was very stressful as this was a pretty big deal and a one-time opportunity, plus I am not used to shooting with almost 2 dozen people watching! Other than the nervousness, it was an extreme privilege and please to be able to photograph Jeremy in the costume. He held up very well, took direction as best he could hear it in the helmet, and never complained or looked uncomfortable. He was a complete professional the whole way through, and I think the final photographs show it!
I had the opportunity to photograph Daniel Logan several years ago, and now Jeremy... just need to get Temura and my trilogy will be complete!
WAHOW!!!
JB looks great in the suit - amazing photos Art - beautiful work everyone.
Thank you for including us in this awesome event. You guys did an amazing job and it went so well, you really rocked! We really had a terrific time. Special thanks to DM for putting us up and everything else. And Happy Birthday too :D
Wow, I have been waiting all weekend for this thread! Is it even possible that the suits looks even better than the film version:? And the painting by Obi-Dan is spectacular:suprise Jeremy must have just been overwhelmed with this. He is probably still wearing the suit right now:lol I really wish I could have been there with all you guys. The whole weekend, I felt like a jilted school girl on prom night. "I wanted to go with Jeremy:cry"
:lol:lol:lol
Just WOW ! :suprise
Where to even begin ?
First, let me just say that I've not been in the presence of so many talented individuals in one room in my life. As Art said, seeing everyone work together to achieve one common goal was a very humbling experience !
I can't even begin to find the words that could emphasize enough, just how amazing this experience was. It was indeed the pinnacle of all my experiences in the world of Star Wars, and especially the world of Fett fandom !
It was absolutely wonderful to meet each and every one of you. I've not met so many genuinely gracious people in my life, as I did with this event. From the hospitality of my host's, Alex and Melissa (Mr. and Mrs. Spideyfett), Jason (Darth Miller), and Philip Wise, to those I consider my newest friends from TDH, the overwhelming feeling of "WELCOME" cannot be compared to anything else. Thank you "ALL", from the bottom of my heart.
Anyone who attended this event, could see very clearly, what a family TDH really is. It is my hope, that those who could not attend, will be able to see this in the pictures yet to come, and carry on the TDH family tradition in future events to follow.
A special "Thank You" to Art and Kristen (Brak's Buddy, Mirax), for graciously donating their time and photography expertise. They worked VERY hard to bring the experiences of this event to each and every one of us - their professionalism was second only to their devotion to "Bringing it home" for TDH. This event has made "History" - and through them, will be remembered for all time. It was truly a pleasure to meet you BOTH !
:cheers
FP
Alex,
Words just can't say how I feel. I think I conveyed it better in person, but in case you didn't "get it" ;) , "THANK YOU" my friend - for graciously welcoming me into your home, not to mention, asking me to be a part this project :cheers
"This will be a day long remembered" Darth Vader
FP
Wow! :cheers Congrats to everyone who worked so hard on this project - Great Job! Jeremy looked like a kid on Xmas morning in that group shot! :D
My goodness ... there are already over 100 posts in this thread!:)
Anyway, I have to say this is one event I was very glad I had the opportunity to attend. It's always great meeting up with TDHers who I don't get a chance to meet up with very often, and it was a pleasure getting a chance to meet those who I have never met in person before. Ultimately though, I was totally speechless when JB walked out of his changing room in costume ... it was a thrill that I can't even describe with words.
Art ... thanks a bunch for taking those amazing pictures. Especially with a bust hand.
I have to give big Kudos to all who contributed to this project. You all did one amazing job, and I know it was a boat load of work for a very long time. Well done!:cheers
And happy birthday, Jason!8)
To all of you involved in this project, you derserve many kudos! :D
Thanks for making this happen! :thumbup:thumbup
Alex, you and the "Dallas gang" :lol did a truly remarkable job spearheading the whole project, and you looked like pros at the event!
I'm beyond thrilled to have been a part of it all, and it was so great to finally meet you guys.
Well done! :cheers Now get some sleep. ;)
Thank you very much Chris. It was very nice to see you again and nice to see you and Art talking Fett together :) It was sincerely our pleasure to have this opportunity to be a part of this event and to get to capture it for everyone. This is really what we love doing, showing off the hard work of others so that everyone can truly appreciate it and enjoy it. We love being able to combine our love of costuming with our love of photography :D Thank you again to everyone for allowing us to be a part and thank you so very much to Jeremy for being kind enough to allow us to take pictures and for being so professional. We loved every moment!
I'm feeling fairly human again after getting some sleep, so I got my pics uploaded to Photobucket.
Here's the link to my album:

Pics range from the Comic Con in the morning, thru the presentation with Jeremy, to Philip Wise's workshop and museum in the evening. :)
Two days later or so, I'm still soaking in all that happened. Seeing in person the amount of work everyone put in reach it's destination and presenting it to Jeremy was amazing. Just listening to Jeremy talk about the events the next day at the con made me proud to be part of this group.
Meeting new friends this weekend (being 1 of 4 Erics), seeing old ones again, being part of this experience is beyond words. As I told one of the contributors to this project this morning - For a point of reference, this entire deal rivaled my experience of marching in the Rose Parade as a TK and meeting Uncle George, a feat I previously thought impossible.
My sincere thanks to everyone involved.
Eric (#2)
This turned out just fantastic! Jeremy much have just about fell over when he saw the suit and painting. He probably could have never imagined his role in a movie, would have this much fan base and devotion, even this many years later. I was extremely honored and joyed to be a part of this. I mean how many people get to say "I helped dress the real Fett!"
Alex, it could not have happened withou you.......and maybe a few margaritas but to all the makers a great job that was done beautifully! I thank you guys for allowing Scott and I to come out and to Justin and Laura for putting the three of us rowdy boys up for the weekend.
All of you guys make us very proud and we are very happy to be included in this wonderful thing!
Yep I just woke up myslef! Art and Kristin the photos are amazing! Truly works of ART! HAHA I made a funny.
Anyhow to all the builders, photographers and painters you all did a wonderful job and a very big pat on the back from AZ.
I will remember this weekend for the rest of my life and am very glad to see history in the making!
that is the absolute coolest thing ever.
That group pick with Jeremy, he looks other worldly, glowing even
<-- Jealous
Though I'll get to chat him up at SWWs and D*C , though not nearly as cool as what you guys did , I'll get to bask in his awesome.
How cool would it be if he walked in that costume at SWWs though, dang...
OOOOHHH YEEAAH!!! I've been dying to see this. It is amazing how Jeremy snaps into character just like it was 1979-80 all over again. :thumbup
Really nice work, guys!
:)Since there were only a few of us left by the time Jeremy was able to get in the Fett, and those that weren't able to make the event...I thought I would show some of the Dress-up pictures ...
At the last minute we had to change a few things to help make the suit that much better...Batninja sewing and trimming, Fettpride cutting the cod piece and fitting the gauntlets, Galactic bounty Hunter and myself sewing and making sure everything was comfortable for Mr. Bulloch...and Superjedi attaching a last minute rifle stalk addition made by Man of War Studios....talk about a team effort.:thumbsup
As Brak's said, it was awesome to see everyone working together for one common Goal....PERFECTION.8)...
Thanks to Evan4218 for taking some Classic shots. :thumbup
Enjoy...and most of the pictures speak for themselves. :thumbsup.
Few more...:cheers
Someone really needs to caption this pic! :lol
tahhaa! And whats up with the pic of Spidey holding Jeremy's 3rd hand? Great pics! Keep posting them!
Thanks so much for sharing these amazing sequence of photos to those like myself who didn't get to experience it live, but definitely feel the excitement in the room just from the pics.
I can understand why JB didn't want to take off his BF suit :)
Repeating what's been said, thanks Alex, for heading this up. I was glad to play my part in the project, and only wish I could have stayed around to see Mr. Bulloch IN the suit. :(
Congrats to the whole group, for accomplishing something Mr. Bulloch will never forget, and somethign he has earned in my opinion. Seems like a great guy!
Thanks,
ATM

More Pics!!;)
Well done to you all. It looked like a most excellent day. I am sure the next convention will show the costume alongside him for us all in the UK to see. Thanks for sharing the day and the turotials with us.
Look forward to seeing more another time.
Bobafettsslave 1:fettesb
Your very welcome guys, I know it you all think it was hard for me to put the Fett man back in the suit, but I'd do it again if I had too. Hafing to paint, sand, and help Jermy in the costume all at the same time was hard, but someone had to do it. :lol Ok mabey not, sence I wasen't there. :lol But ya, very awsome project, I appreciate you all. :cheers
All I can say is WOW!!!
All of you involved did a great job. That suit is perfect!:)
Hey Art... rest that hand up. We need it in Boston in June! ;-)
He looks great! Congs to everyone that helped out! I cant wait to see more photo's!
Darren:fettesb
Let me tell ya... after doing just a 45 min shoot with Jeremy, I am so glad we rescheduled the shoot in Boston. There is no way I would have been able to do it. Even half of the Jeremy pics were on tripod because I couldn't hold the camera the whole time. Trust me, the experience I gained in this shoot will come in handy for the rescheduled Boston shoot. I am hoping to blow that one out of the water, so you better be practicing more than your dance moves in front of the mirror!!!
Wow guys - this is just amazing.
Congratulations and respect to all the team who put this project together.
Well done all - it really is one of the most impressive things I've ever encountered on this hobby.
Cheers

Words can not express how wonderful I still feel inside. This was a very special event for a very special person. Everyone that contributed to that suit did it for their love of JB and Star Wars.
A added bounus was being able to meet fellow TDH'ers. I will never forget you guys. It was such a pleasure to be able to finally meet and shake your hands.
Seeing JB's face and the look of everyone elses face when he came out of that room for the photoshoot was something I will hold close to my heart always.
Thank you again Alex and to your team for allowing me and Danny to be apart of this.
And thank you Jeremy Bulloch for being such a remarkable gentleman.
:cheers:cheers:cheers:hug:hug:hug:love:love:love
Seeing JB in that suit gave me goosebumps. I found myself holding back tears. I was getting choked up. As Brak's was taking photos of JB in the suit. You could see the glow on JB's face and it reflecting off of everyone who was in that room was extraordinary. It was a event that I will NEVER forget as long as I breathe.
Thank you Alex for posthing these photos. :fettesb:thumbsup
Is it disturbing and wrong that I got a little misty eyed seeing Jeremy in that fabulous suit?
Great job guys, you're all amazing! :thumbup
Flo, the best part was the herd of llamas meandering around the whole time. :lol
Now thats what I wanted to see...the magic happening!!!!! Looks like everybody had a great fun time, especially JB!!!!! He is smiling in almost every pic!!! So how long did it take to get him all suited up???? Thanx for sharing.
D
*sobs with joy at the Llama-y/Jeremy goodness of it all*
:lol
Not long really, if you consider that the majority of the time spent was tailoring the last of the components that needed his "form" when he got there.
I'd say, from MY perspective, that if it weren't for the finishing touches, he'd been suited in a half hour at the most. But basically, each of us had a component or two that we were working on, and so it all went on in whatever order each of us finished an item. From start to finish seemed like about 1.5 - 2 hours. I could be wrong, as we were all sort of flying around like chickens with our heads cut off :lol
Although, with Art and Kristen setting up the equipment for the shoot, and all of us running around doing our parts - we must have looked like a well oiled machine, because I don't believe I saw one person involved sweat, or show that they were mortified (like I was) :lol
FP
Pure Magic! :thumbup Thanks so much for the pictures. Please keep them coming!
Thought you guys might like this:

Wow, I agree with gonzo...i would be holding back tears too.the suit looked amazing and he really seemed to enjoy it. You all should be proud of your work!
Next step: has anyone considered buying him a mannequin to display his gift?
Art, that has to be the coolest darn thing I've seen this year !!! Err, uh, with the exception of Jeremy Bulloch in a fett costume that is ;)
Quick thinking man ! :thumbsup
FP
Brak's that's just incredible. For a second there, I thought it was a higher res photo from the archives! Great job!
Don't forget the gauntlet darts, knee darts, beacon, and stabilizer ;)
Art. . . WOW!! I love it! That may be a screensaver at some point. :)
Simply Brilliant Art!!!
I LOVE it! :)
Woah!!! Yeah, that made me do a double take!!!!!
D
Hey Art,
Great meeting you..
I'm just in awe of your work..This one is kill'n me..I love it !
Just WoW!:cheers
There was all types of drilling and buzzing nosies coming from that side of the shop. JB's lovely wife, Maureen commented on how it sounded like he was getting dental work done rather than getting suited up.:lol:lol
And yes Chris. All you guys were operating like a well oiled machine.
WOW guys, idk what to say. that has to be one of the coolest things ever done....would have loved to have been there! thanks for sharing the experience!!! ALL of you did one hell of a job putting that together!!!

Man, I can't get enough of the pics of this event! I really wish a trip down to Dallas would have been in the budget, but it wasn't to be. I'm so jealous of all who attended! :drool
This is quite the milestone for the TDH.
The efforts from all that worked on it in ANY way reflects in JB's face.
Beautiful work gang. My hats off and :cheers

Thats gorgeous. I am in for a few; one for the my new home office, another for my office office, another to tack on the backside of the trunklid of my car, and few more for gifts for my favorite star wars friends :)
Wow! You sure turned that one around in a heartbeat! Looks awesome!
If these are available to everyone, I would love to get a couple and frame them. I dont post much, but im on this forum several times a day and I am always amazed by the talent. :cheers
Before you sell any posters be sure to photochop in that butt thong :lol:lol
Guys I’m late to chime in on this thread, but I just wanted to say WOW! Kudos to everybody involved, you guys did a great job!
Oh and the poster Braks put together is super cool also! I’d definitely be in for one. One small thing though is to make sure you leave just alittle bit of boarder on the edges for those of us that want to frame it.
:cheers:thumbsup:thumbup
Braks - dont forget to highlight the letter "B" on the helmet by Chris Jones...
