What does the 501st want to see in a Jaster Mereel costume?

I don't have 501st access, so I can't see what guidlelines it might place on a Jaster Mereel costume. The source material is also so limited -- as I'm sure many of you know -- and really boils down to a few drawings in a few comics. Does anyone have the 501st guidelines on the Jaster costume? Many thanks in advance; you guys sure know your stuff!

He has pretty specific belt accessories, a custom pack rocket, and some some custom decals but for the most part I've always seen just basic Fett armor with the normally red parts more of an orange color.

I'm no expert, though so I'm sure it's at least a little more complicated that that.

I believe that I am one of only a handful of Jaster's in the 501st. It took Thomas (Clone Emperor), the Legion GML, Fangs my Badlands CO at the time, and Darcy the Badlands GML a lot of effort to get it approved. The real problem is the 3 reference rule. Jaster has Jango style armour, very basic gauntlets, no jet pack, full cape....

Find out which Garrison you will be in and contact your GML for help....

Your post just described Jodo Kast, not Jaster.

WOW Jaster is 501st approved very cool! I love the costume very nice. The fewer ref you have the better the suit turns out in my opinion. It gives the artists more leeway to make the peices look cooler than ...... well I can't say that word can i.

Are you saying the 501st requires a custom rocket pack? I ask because, from what I've researched, he doesn't have a rocket pack in the comics...???

Oh my God! I did think you were talking about Kast and had a total brainfart, didn't I? All that ran through my head was the TWIN ENGINES comic images.

no rocket pack looking right at open seasons as we speak. What is twin engines? is it another graphic novel I need? for Jodo?

Jaster has no rocket pack. The armor is easily confused with Jango Fett's "Open Seasons" armor which DOES have a pack and is basically the same colors with only minor differences.

The most difficult part of the Jaster outfit is the sunken ear caps on the helmet IMHO. Everything else is pretty interchangeable with Jango's armor minus the gauntlets which are fairly basic.
