What do you use?

Hey brothers,

today I have a very unusual (and maybe silly:doh) question:

What do you guys use to fill the pockets on the boba flight suit and the pouches?

I guess everybody uses different things, but I would like to know what you use and if someone has a very good idea how to stuff out those pockets?

I use big foam blocks in mine. Depending on what suit your looking at & from what time frame, sometimes the pocets look full, and sometimes they look empty. ESB always seems to have the look that the pouches are full of something.

I´m nearly completing my ESB Boba, and now I start wondering about all the smaller things you look at if all parts are complete :D

I use foam blocks as well. :) You can find it at any craft store like Joannes :D

Could be a little bit more off to the side, (sometimes they move around on me when I'm trooping), but I like to wear em mostly in front similar to this pic.

try upholstery stores for couch cushion foam

I use priority shipping boxes with the bottoms cut out for room for my spurs. Because in ESB ya can hear spurs when vader asks han and leia to refreshments

Going for an ROTJ look, so I'm using larger foam blocks to fill out the saddlebags, and thinner foam blocks in the leg pouches so they still look somewhat shaped, but also looser than the saddlebags look.

I use chunks of a memory foam mattress pad that my dog chewed up. :lol

I want the sound of spurs when I'm in boba

I don't have a boba, but I have my snowy on the way, and we use the same style pouches, and what I've found, if you don't care to have full pouches, is take an undershirt, in my case a green uniform shirt, fold it up, and stick it in. It adds weight while keeping the form, and it's still soft and looks natural.

If you want the sound of spurs and you didn't grow up riding a horse I will give you some advice. get ( or be given as a gift) the most obnoxious looking ( with losts of metal that is loose) they must be jangly, not the cheapy slide on spurs.

cut one end off a priority Vhs shipping box tape them up inside so they hang down.

now there is one other way I thought of as well.......the belly dance finger symbols hang a pair from the inside of your pouch ( I am guessing here)

maybe even rig up your car keys to dangle inside the pouch???

Thats exactly what I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to cut a small space out of the foam in your pockets, so the keys can kinda dangle & jingle. It works very well!!!!!
