voice changer

I bought the same one at Wal-Mart in the novelty toy aisle about a year and a half ago. Seven dollars and batteries were included was a great bargain. Fits great in a cargo pocket with enough wire to thread under the vest and up through the neckseal.

How is the volume on these? Has anyone rigged them to run more juice to the speakers?

I know sometimes they can't be loud enough, especially since when your suited up at cons there is a great deal of background noise you have to overpower if you want to use a voice amp.

It has a single full range speaker. It's kind of cheap so any bumping up of the amps will blow it. For a con you probably wouldn't be able to hear it but for everyday run of the mill troopings it works just fine.

I got one of those long ago and let everyone know about it. The Alien setting would work really well for a Boussh setup!

Try saying "Yutay, yutay, Yutoh," into the microphone. :)

Not to change the subject here, I went to the local "Spirit Halloween" store shopping for a voice changer. I did find them, they have them for $9.00. I also picked up one of theses(photo below). Being that the last SW Celebration was in California, the next one is sure to be out of state for me. I'll take a chance.

Yeah I saw that contest on their website. Is funny because location and dates haven't been released yet. But hey, wherever it is you get a chance to go.
