Hey Madrid you can add me to that list, Last year I bought a life size Han in Carbonite from him (later finding out it was a recast) for 300$. It was a resin front panel and never got it. I even told him id accept some of his ****** recasts as payment, as this is all he has. After TONS of emails and ebay messages he finally blocked me on ebay and will not answer emails, his phone line also does not work. I stupidly sent the paypal payment as a gift to save him paypal fees, so i have no recourse there. Im at a loss.

We have to do something about it. If we add all the money that he has stolen from us, i bet that we can sue him, and that he can be declared guilty. I do not remember how it goes in the US, but in Spain if you still above 300 euros, then it is a crime.

i checked his feedback, and "most" of his feedback is good...there are a handfull of negatives though, and pretty intense negatives at that...refunds have been made by him, but that is probably because he is bound by contract on ebay, like chucky mentioned...i am tempted to buy a small item from him, and then give feedback that is nuetral, but in the comments rip him a new one and warn people about his antics...

That's based on the state as far as Larceny vs. Grand Larceny. In Oklahoma its over $500 is Grand and a felony. Gary is in California. However, I am pretty sure that his real name is no Chaboya. He let it slip in a conversation once that he was using the info of a former employee that helped him from time to time. He is a real douche for what he has done and I am sorry for the damage he has caused. I can only hope that he sees the errors of his ways and fesses up to the damage done.

I must be one of the relatively lucky ones. I received my blaster bought on bay but only after a couple of months and a paypal dispute. My policies are pretty simple: if I haven't bought from someone before I will always initiate a claim/dispute with ebay and/or pay pal before the end of the 45 day period if I haven't received the goods (45 days is long enough to mail anything anywhere). The problem does arise that ebay and pay pal don't appear to give a poop about the quality of the merchandise their sellers sell. As long as there is a proof of postage they regard that as contract fulfilled. I got stung that way by evolution who basically sold me a pile of **** and I had no recourse. Basic rule of thumb for Internet purchases: caveat emptor!

I have some good advice for everyone here I would be very careful with the wording and supposed intent of your posts. All the passing of his address and statements bordering threats are a real danger for yourself. Saying you'll go by his house combined with repeated posting of his personal info can be viewed as harrassment. I know MANY of you have lost $$ and there is no way around it being ripped off sucks but everyone has friends even him and if someone crosses the line and goes and does something stupid to his home he would have no shortage of people to point a finger at. I do not agree with his business practices so dont take this the wrong way I am just bringing the point up. He could be using puppet accounts to continue selling
stuff and following the show as we speak. I know the reality is that most people will never get anything from him and this is just a place to blow off the steam that builds up but just be smart and stay on the right side of the line. Woody

I agree also. We should be always in the legal area, but i do not thing that a visit to remind him that we know where he is could make any harm. It is easy to ripp off one guy when he is thousand of miles away, but if you have it in front of you..... i do not think he will.....


On the other hand, we need a Lawyer in order to file a collective claim.

I agree also, however it is not harassment. We are not sending any harassing notes as such. He is a businessman and selling his wares we are entitled to know where his place of business is- his address. No one is talking about going to his house and demanding money or intimidating him into paying what he owes. We simply would like someone to visit him to see why he is not responding to people he did business with and has not fulfilled his end of the deal. I do not wish him any ill will, I/we would only like what is do to us.

There are several people agreeing to go to his house what are they going to do when they get there, ask/demand where the stuff is or ask for the money back of course. It's a very grey area for sure but if you came to my house and I didnt know you and you made demands of me and asked for your $$ back I would call the police and then he (the bad guy in the first place)
would become the good in the eyes of the law at that point. This is the idea I was trying to bring up. I DO NOT AGREE WITH HIS ACTIONS AT ALL. You guys know me as one of the goods guys here. I just dont wanna find out a TDH brother was arrested for beating him up for their money. LOL!

Yes I was ripped off by this man as well but i knew him as fan made on eBay. The man constantly assured me that my item was on its way only to cut off contact once the time limit to file a claim was up. I called and got a hold of him at first he said i had the wrong number but changed his story once i called him on it. I have filed a claim with http://www.ic3.gov/ Its a consumer fraud site sanctioned by the FBI. You all should go on and file claims there as well. If we all file enough maybe something can get done. Since its a federal crime to steal money through the internet even if its just $100.00 .

over a hundred dollars is larceny and over 1000 is grand larceny but if i understand it its a federal crime if you use the internet to commit fraud so there is a much stiffer penalty than if it was one on one, with much less money involved to reach that level. Its like committing fraud through the mail. very bad juju

ic3.gov is legit. Put all contact information you have when you file. I had to use it once to get some stuff I was owed. The dude got my stuff to be pretty quick after that, so I assume he must have been contacted by ic3, and told him to send me my stuff or go to jail.

I sent emails and called the number listed here. I eventually text that same number and he replied to me promising me to fix the problem. He has since stop responding to my text. I am just going to let the authorities handle it from here on out. I am tired of trying to reach a mature adult resolution with this seller.

he finally cut off contact again i filed with the west covina police department online i also notified the better business bureau and the post office are seeking to file charges against him for mail fraud do to the fact he claimed in emails to be sending the same package with the same label, as well as the ic3 websight so i am hoping this man has enough legal troubles to tie him up for the next fifty years. All he had to do was work with me and send me something.

i will file a police claim also...

But what i really wonder is if this guy ever thought that we were going to let him go without punishment.....

Let's hold off on the name calling. He appears to be trying to make amends and we owe him that chance. Albeit a little late, but nonetheless he appears to be trying. Let give it a couple of weeks and see what happens. The statute of limitations runs over two years, (I think) so time is on our side. Everyone deservs a chance to correct their mistakes.

I agree I really wish he would contact the rest of us but this seems to be his method of operating. He contacted me after i sent several emails calls text etc... only to promise me that things would be resolved then after a time would cut off all contact. I have not heard anything from the guy. I hope this works out for you all and i would hope he monitors this chat and would contact me as well. I have emailed him again with the desire to resolve this but i have not been contacted back yet. At this point i would even accept a substitution or anything to justify my trouble. Like i said i hope it works out and i hope i get an email but after dealing with this guy thus far i am not going to hold my breath. I am just going to let the authorities take care of him until i see other wise. The post office was particularly interested in charging him with mail fraud so i filled out the paper work and IC3 And the BBB. We will see! prayers for a speedy resolution to us all!
