My 15 year old boy Cody and I are Rush fans.. Guess I am old too.
I was a drummer through high school and also started playing bass at that time, so I'm a big RUSH fan.
I absolutely hate Rush
Musically, they are ok enough
But Geddy Lee needs to shush
sounds like someone skinnin' a cat
But that's only my opinion
I love YYZ, awesome tune! And being a drummer, you can't not like listening to Neil Peart.
i listen to rush here and there..... it is my friend jon's favorite band... you gotta be into that kind of music to really LOVE them
I love Rush. Been a fan for years.
Neil Pert is a percussionist...not a drummer...![]()
Always been a rush fan, but then I'm Canadian so it's requiredI think my favourite song would have to be Red Barchetta.
can take em or leave em but I will eject any one from the van for making me list any one thing all the time on a road trip.
love rush!!! 2112, farewell to kings, and exit stage left are my favorite albums!
I'm a HUGE RUSH fan. I play bass, bass pedals, a little bit of synth.
I don't listen to them as much as I used to though. I know lots of folks either can't stand Geddy's voice, or don't grasp music in odd time signatures ( which they don't do as often ), but that's what makes music great, something for everyone !

RUSH is pretty good. im a bigger YES fan though
Perminent Waves and Grace Under Preasure here. But on an retort. Neil Peart is not "a" percussionist. He is THE percussionist. (I have been drumming all my life)
Spirit of Radio, Anthem, hell the whole Fly By Night album, Rush were and are fantastic.
Not really a fan, but i do respect thier talents and influence
I bought my first Rush album along with Billy Idol, Generation X, The Fixx, Devo and The Euryhtmics when I joined that stupid buy six albums get the next 3 for a penny club. I did it without asking my parents, so needless to say I listened to all of them while I was grounded for two weeks. Tom Saywer is bitchin'
rush is a fair bit of epic. I'm not a huge fan but I'm not gonns change the station if they come on.
Being a drummer myself like a few others who posted in this thread, yeah, listening to RUSH is sort of a requirement.![]()
