I just put my bucket on for the first time since getting a haircut. It's amazing the difference hair can make. Now I gotta try and get some padding rigged in. If I move my head much the helmet looks like a bobble head.

I would try using an UnderArmor (or similar) cap.. or even a balaclava that way as your hair grows you could lose the cap!

Never thought of that. I'll give it a shot, it'll be a while before my hair gets to the length and thickness it was when I did my helmet. (See my profile pic)

I thought about that but I always said if I got it cut I'd donate it and my wife made me stick to it. Not that I would have kept it anyway. I only kept one small braid for myself, which I may, at some point, incorporate into my braid set. The rest of it I donated to the Locks of Love program. I don't know about other countries but, in the US, it is a program that makes hairpieces (wigs) for underprivileged children, under 18, who have long term medical hair loss. It felt it was the right thing to do.

I bought a cheap painters hood at Lowes for about 2 bucks. It is a thin balaclava that is khaki colored. It makes my helmet fit a bit snugger and absorbs sweat. I seem to feel cooler and my helmet does not slide around.

You could try embedding some rare earth magnets into your skull, then epoxying the opposite part into the helmet.
That thing will never move!

I have the same problem with my buy'ce, I usually put a beanie on when I put mine on.

I just started mine ofc, but still a nice beanie helps though I do see it posing a problem when the temp starts to rise LMAO.

What could work on the other hand, would be either styrofoam, or some kind of cushion maybe out of an old couch or possibly the kinda foamy stuff from car seats, and getting some of those "quick stick" velcro circles and adding some on with that.
