TWO CARGO HOLDS........

It is only an idea.... lets see what you think... :confused

Whenever you want to sell, or trade, or want something... you go to the cargo hold (Of course)..

But i see a problem. If you are trying to sell (for example) one thing... you will be able to see how your post dissapears because they are some posts that will come to the top positions time after time.. :facepalm

Well..my idea is to divide the cargo hold in two sections. One for one time sellers..or one object for sale, and the other one for item runs or multiple items sales......

What do you think? :wacko

Runs "should" be posted in whatever section it applies to IE a run of helmets goes in the helmet section etc. I see where you are coming from though, runs in a specific section can be easy to miss. For example, lets say I'm working on painting my helmet and someone happens to be doing a run of blasters, I may not even check the blasters section of the boards if I'm not actively looking for a blaster even though I will be looking for one eventually...make sense?

I'm not saying I'm necessarily for the idea, just throwing in some input for an argument for it.

The thing is that if you are a single item seller... your post will be (most likely) in the next page, because some other posts will have lots of responses from different members because he will be selling more than one item (like runs..)

I just bump it when it goes low on the list. Plus, people looking to buy stuff have a tendency to find even the oldest threads.

I see your point Madrid.

I think the thing that gets overlooked is the change to the boards.

Theres 'runs' going on in the cargo hold, however, the way its supposed to work is.

If you have the item on hand, ready to pay and ship, it goes in the cargo hold.

If its an item that you need to make, take an order, make a list, it goes in the thread sections.

However, that poses a problem. Because say, my HIC's thread has been in propbuilding, and quite a few people dont want 'props' they want 'boba wear'.

So when I posted in the cargo hold, I reached a whole new level of people.

The best thing to do is to have people post their items (and make post) accordingly.

For instance a thread that the title say 'garage cleaning' with items of
trooper boots, trashcan armour, and yoda scuplture' is a really annoying thing.

If people labeled their threads correctly: IE
Stormtrooper boots, trashcan armour, yoda sculpture (Garage cleaning)

then it would be easy to search the page using IE's scan feature, to find items.

The same goes for threads.

Thread name 'so who would have though'
with
So who would have thought that widget guy was creating a new helmet? Heres the first look pictures what do you think about it?

This thread would be so much more useful labeled:
New Widget guy Helmet - First Look pictures

I guess my point is, some people are here to be 'witty' and some people here to delve for information. Neither of which seem to be backwards compatable.

Now, a specialized section for selling, with personalized item creation would be great. So I can look through a list of 'items' and then visit the 'thread' after an item has caught my eye, would rock.

That´s the good thing about english being your mother language...you can say exactly what you think!!! ;)

Thanks stormrider (and the other guys) !! (y)

It will be a great idea !!
