tron Legacy teaser trailer

Absolutely stunning. I wasn't very excited for this movie, but after watching the teaser that certainly changed.

Very cool! and I didn't know Jeff Bridges was going to be in this one too. Can't wait to see it....though it looks like we'll be waiting 2 years yet for this one.

I loved Tron!! This one looks cool. I dont like how the "people" are the lightcycle though. also I dont like how you can just slightly turn and make circles. when your on the game grid they should have kept it sharp corners only. but overall it looks promising.

I can't wait for this! TRON was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I'm really excited that both Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner are returning. I hope David Warner makes a cameo.

Actually Disney is aiming for a late 2010 release so only 1.5 years

I dont like how the "people" are the lightcycle though.

There will be several different light vehicles, including the classic style (as you can see in this pic from the Comic Con panel)

Yeah I really liked the 90 degree turns of the the orginal but I think the new way kinda fits. In the 80s computers were more blunt and straight forward in their use and video game graphics were a lot rougher (more pixelated means more 90 degree corners). So I think that the new lightcycles having a more smoth motion and being able to do more complex things fits with how computers have become faster and more complex

Tron is one of my favorites also, it is among the top two movies with best photography with me. Looks interesting!

I absolutely loved this movie as a kid and continue to do so til now. I can't wait for this movie to come out.

Just my opinion, but the 3D animation is not great. If its intended that way to look blocky, then its very reminiscent of Transformers Beast Wars to me. I do need to be reminded its a movie about a game LOL...

Yup! It appears to be a meaner version of his program CLU. In case you dont remember. CLU was the guy in the tank at the beginning of the first film.


I just watched the light bike sequence on youtube and Flynn mentions building alot of tank programs. Maybe this is just another one instead of CLU?

Well this isnt an actual segment from the film. It's just some test footage that was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con last summer to see if they could get people interested in a sequel. But it wasnt released until this summer.

I'm not really sure what you mean by blocky though; everything looks pretty smooth to me. The texture on the characters' leather suits are what look the worst to me

It looks awesome! I had to go out and get a copy of the original Tron so my daughter would understand what I'm so excited about.

Blocky as in the movement of the characters arms and legs and the motion is very amateur looking, like Saturday morning cartoon style.

Great. Now i have to go get the part needed to fix my full size stand up original Tron arcade machine fixed. I bought it from a cafe that was going out of buisness for $75.00 and played the heck out of it till the screen started to fade ( about 2 years ). All it does now is glow white but everything else comes on great.

Ahhhh yeah after watching it again I see what you mean

In my opinion movie could upgrade from Legacy to Epic with the addition of one simple cameo;

Jay Maynard.

Give us Jay, and you'll prove you have a clue what being Tron means.
