Toe spike issue??

Hey guys, ive recentley finished my boba boots the other week, I think there CA boots and ive paired them with russrep toe spikes. Now my issue is that when I walk in them, the toe spikes hit the ground, making a "tinging" noise as they touch the ground.
Does any one else have this problem or have I put them on wrong? From looking at others boots they look fine to me though.
Help would be much appreciated,
Welsh

i see a lot of them mounted high on boot . i bet its because of that . mounted mine the outher day but have not tryed them .

yea thats how i mounted mine. some ppl have the top there"s over the top of the soles of the boot. looks a little funny to me .

only problem I'm having is that mine are BM resin and after 2 years of walking they're getting worn from hitting the ground as my toe bends.

Cheers for the imput guys, I guess this most be a common thing then which has given me some confidence. I did find that one of my spikes tends to move upwards when walking, sorted with bit of glue though.
