tint for chest lights

Hi all,

well i have just received my new chest lights from OrtharRrith (they rock )
I just wanted to ask what people use as tint between the lights and the chest plate? It looks kinda wrong without a tinted screen but i don't want to dull the lights out too much. Have tried car window tint and it is just a little too dark

any ideas?

You know those overhead sheets? The overhead projectors in schools, those transparent sheets with black transparent. Either that or stop by walmart and get some car tint there, instead of sticking it to it, just tape it to your armor piece.

I use the green tinted welder lenses. There not to dark and not to bright, just right!

I used OHP transparencies and just printed a black section on it mate

I had some old red transparencies from my ....vintage Transformers...you know, the small red peice that revealed each robot's statistics on the card cut-out on the box Yeah, I still had that **** from my childhood...and it came in handy8)

The red tint makes it look perfect to me

I am being a bit thick here :o If you print a black section onto the OHP transarency, then surely it wouldn't be translucent at all Or can you see through it ?

When the chest lights are flashing they shine through perfectly! I found just the chest lights on their own without a tint of some kind too bright and this works a treat!
