Our very own Webchief dons his SE Boba in TED during the Episode 1 premiere scene. Several members of the 501st NEG garrison act as extra for the scene.

I was wondering if that guy was a member here. It was the highlight of the movie for me. Super cool to see that!

yup... thats the NEG, and Alderaan Base. Too bad I had to work that night, and couldn't get down there for the filming. If you see it the movie, the shot is only like 5 seconds long, and is in the opening credits.

Yeah, and the rest of the movie was great as well! Not just off-color jokes, but it had a decent story too!

Thanks! Yup, that's me! It was a blast to be a part of the shoot. We shot that 5 second scene for several hours doing multiple takes with and without a stand-in bear. Pretty awesome!

I'll have to check this out.
