Just wanted to start a thread for the TDH Marines to post in. As TDH is a family obviously the Marines are also. Being a combat veteran of Iraq (current war) I wanted to extend a early HAPPY BIRTHDAY and VETERANS DAY to the Jarheads here!

Geez, I gotta share my husband's birthday with the marines???? I'm ...er.. he's never gonna get any presents. Seriously guyz thanks for all you do. What does he want this year HMM how about some red pumps. That way the marines won't want em either. :)

Hey I don't want red pumps for my birthday and hey Thanks all you marines for all you do. Happy Birthyday guys!!!!

I only have one real birthday and thats Nov 10th. Although ive been out of the Marines since Aug 2000 and have been in the Army since Nov 2000 (Yeah I know but the Army got me out of being a grunt with a high tech MOS that the Corps did not offer, plus promotion is faster) I still defend my Corps.

If you think being in the Marines is hard try being a Marine in the Army. Twice as much flack from both sides. But ive trained my Soldiers to Corps standards, or at least try. Now im the new First Sgt. "E-8" at my unit and im only a SSGT. "E-6".

I served with the Marines in Iraq when I was in the Army and proudly wear my (authorized) 1st Mar Div Combat patch.

Happy Birthday Jarheads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What makes the grass grow?

My brother was a Marine, I was Navy...we both did a little bit of the first Gulf War.

Happy Vet day to all my brothers in arms around the world.

Not a Marine, nor US Army, but British Army. I have had the distinct pleasure of serving alongside some of you guys, and I'd like to wish the Marines a very happy Corps Birthday.

Be safe guys.

Marine at heart, (though they wouldnt let me sign up due to my knees) but my dad served and grandpa before him in WWII

My great grandpa served as a US marine in WWII (Iwo Jima) and I served as a US Navy sailor for 16 yrs. Thanks for your service Marines! I am proud to have served with some of you brave folks out there! Happy birthday to the Corps and happy veterans day to my brothers in arms!

Hey Chris,

Where you ever asked this question regarding your 8541 MOS? "Your target is ...., what do you feel after you pull the trigger?" Answer: "The recoil"
