TDH Fan Club Table at C4 Approved-More donations needed!

I wonder if we have members here who make banners, stickers, flyers, etc. for a profession...you know to help cut down on costs?

I'm a morning person (thanks to the military) so can I put in a request for the 10-12 p.m. slots on Sat., Sun., and Mon.

I'll also volunteer to make a pair of Jango holsters that I'll sell here or ebay and donate all the proceeds to the cause.


I really hope this opportunity doesn't pass us up,

Sadly I can not go to C4 because there is only 3 of us at my job and the bad part is that all three are Star Wars fans, so only one can go, sadly its not me, but I would like to show my support, I would like to make a donation. all this sounds great and hope everything works out for the best with such a minimal time to do it. unfortunatly, im a full time college student and single parent i am not able to donate any money. but, i am very willing to donate my time. but before i can pick times to man the table, i only have 1 question. will it be a requirment to be dressed up for both shifts or maybe during 1 shift in costume and another without. thanks

No, it is not a requirement to dress in costume. While it would be great, we realize not everyone will want to or will have a costume. We will want everyone to wear a TDH shirt however and if you don't have one, we can certainly hook you up with Dustin Crops Boy who is the one that makes them.

I work at a sign shop. I cannot attend C4, but I can make banners, vinyl decals, bumper stickers, etc...

I will not be able to go to C4 this year but since so many here at the dented helmet have helped me this past year ( and I may actually get into the 501st due to this help) in the form of advice and help with my costume I can give a little something pM me or let me know details when it comes time.

I will be at C4 a day early to help construct the 501st booth, I may be able to help build the TDH booth too.

C4 is still up in the air for me as soon as I find out I will be more than happy to volunteer at the booth.

I would love to wear my Boba during that time but I´have the problem that the JP is too heavy for the flight from Germany to the US.

Is there any possibility for "rental" or borrowing a JP (ESB style) ?

I have no idea if anyone has a jet pack you can borrow, but I certainly see no reason why you can't wear your Boba suit without a jet pack.

Mirax, I would be willing to volunteer Sat. 12-2pm, Sun, 4-6pm, and Mon 12-2pm. I can have my family (2 boys and wife) help out w/ me at any of these times.

Well I'll be coming on on the 24th in the late afternoon and staying on CA for a week after that.

That being said I'm willing to do a couple hours at the table and possibly also donate a few bucks around $50

I'll talk to my peeps and see which shifts would be best for me to do without interfering with their plans

Also, I have to agree with Brian about overnightprints.com, they're top notch and get them out fast, and you don't even have to overnight them

I really don't know if we can get passes for people that day so I would say yes, you should be a Star Wars Fan Club Member to sign up to work on Thursday.

While I don't know when I will be able to I will take at least one if not more shifts (I am waiting to see the 501st volunteer shifts before I commit to any real times) and I will also toss $100-$200 into the donation pool.

Well, I have now decided to drive down Wednesday night from my town Santa Barbara (roughly an hour an 20 mins from downtown LA) and checking into my hotel room then, and then I would be available thursday morning and then I could also kick off the very first shift of 12:00 -2:00 Mirax if you want to be down for that one too

We still need more volunteers. I'd really like to get this schedule almost completely full before we are go on this. Come on gang! Here's your chance to help out and encourage others to build a Fett suit at C4!!!

This will also be a great chance to get to know your fellow TDH member manning the table. I for one, hope other TDHers not scheduled to man the table at that time to stop by and talk fett!

Is there still a plan to donate goods for auction to help the cause? Perhaps we can sticky a thread in the cargo hold with the donated items. We can then have a silent auction that ends at a certain time. Bids can all go to one member, to keep it easy. I would volunteer for it even. Payments for those items can go directly to the donation account. What do you say everyone? I will donate a vinyl belt to the cause.

Hey Mirax, I can also work from 6PM - 7PM on Friday, so I'll take that open spot right there.

I'm planning a trip to Europe around this time that may conflict with CIV.

I also want to let you know that Cruzer, Commander Voltaire, and MandalorFett have all been part of the committee that helped us get the application together and who will be in integral part of the organizing at C4. Sorry, I meant to address this sooner. While this is a great idea, I think it would be simpler for each individual who is wanting to sell an item and donate the proceeds to do so themselves in the Cargo Hold. If you want to do it for a set price, great. If you want to do some kind of an auction, that is cool too. But I think it would be best for each person to be responsible for the sale. You can certainly post that the proceeds will be going to the C4 TDH fund. I think this is a good idea.

I am wondering if the 2-4pm slot for monday will be that fillable. Most folks will be on a plane or driving home at that time.

Yeah, our group talked about that yesterday. Probably not but I don't think it will be a problem- we will just plan to tear things down during that time.

We have looked over what we will be needing this morning and it looks like we will need about $1000 for all that we need for our display. So we need some more help from everyone! I am willing to help out. I will be in LA the day before (23rd) if you need help setting up. I do not know what times I will get for Officialpix volunteering but as soon as I know I can help man the table as well.

Just a note to all TDH members, the banners and staging materials that are paid for by donations will also be used at other TDH gatherings like D-Con and so on. In other words, the donations go far beyond just Celebration 4 for TDH.

Now that I know I'm going I would be happy to do some table duty any time Friday Sat or Sunday. PayPal donation and dinner funds will be shot out as soon as I get paid.

Stop on by! We are currently in the process of getting our banners done. Business cards are ready and will be getting stickers too! We also have a little something for everyone who is currently scheduled to work the table I won't be able to make it for the Con so Commander Voltaire is going to be heading things up and MandalorFett and Cruzer will be assisting so if you have any questions or problems at the con, you'll need to direct your questions to them.

Our marketing director for the rebrand, Gino, chose those images, one of Mirax, and one of Graeme. He chose them based on their ability to represent TDH, fit within the banners, and dynamic look. These banners are 80" tall and required the highest resolution images available, which by default are the images I have taken.
