Is TDH doing any type of after party at Celebration VI?

Just wondering if TDH is doing any type of after party at Celebration VI like some of the other costuming groups are?

Hey I live in Orlando, so everyday is an after party

No seriously being you live there you have know the area...the guys will definately want to do something Im sure. If I were going Id be down but kinda on the other side of the globe for 3 more months. Organize something, I foget where they met up last time...I missed out while at the last tour to endor.

I would so be down to go to a TDH afterparty. Would love to meet some of the awesome members here in person!

Count me in, too. I'll be there all 4 days.

I was thinking Saturday evening, right after the con closes. Maybe 7:30? This way people can eat and still attend the late night festivities!

I would be willing to help and/or organize.

I am looking at some different places nearby that might work well for a meetup, most of the other people are booking banquet rooms at hotels, but at this late stage it wouldn't be possible. I'm checking some I-Drive maps now to see if there is a place nearby the convention center to meet up that would a good time.

I'm all for TDH having a get together. There is plenty of members going to Celebration this year. We just need to figure out who will actually go and where we will have it so we can have something setup with the location. The dinner/get together we had at Celebration was fun but was also a bit of a mess.

I'm in as well. I lived in Orlando for 12 years I'm sure we can find something close the Point has some bars which would be accommodating I think Adobe Gilas? Not sure if that is the spelling but its a large outdoor mall type and we can all meet and bar hop there...

I was going to start a Celebration TDH rollcall thread, but this sounds like it. I'll be there--count me in for the after-party/bar hop.

Definetly down, This will be my first time to Orlando, so It'll be nice to be around people that know where they're going lol

Should we exchange cell numbers, or e-mails or something to get in touch with each other? I'll have my phone with me when im not trooping my TK (if i bother to troop at all) and can check here my e-mail or texts randomly throughout the time im down there.

At CV we had one person as the focal point to collect and send out #s...did anyone make a check in thread? If not and someone does...I'll add it to the TDH facebook page to spread the word.

Rosen I think (or is it spelled Rosin?) Either way, my bud Allen set it all up and I'll be rooming with him and I think that's what he told me where we'll be.

looks like all the cool kids are there...I know where I will be hangin out at. lol!

Yeah, the Rosen Centre, was usually the hang out place last year since most of the TDH group were staying there and its so close to the con.

You are right on that. There is also an awesome jazz bar with live music (B.B. Kings)

When did they open BB Kings? Its been 4 years since I lived there.

I'm up for an after party. Is there a TDH dinner? I just started searching the threads. I'm at the Hampton Inn unfortunately, couldn't get in at the Rosen or Embassy Suites.

They must have opened just after you left. They are just to the right of adobe gilas.

The after party hang out is going to be at the Rosen Center since the bar area is a good size for a group to hang out.

I'm definitely all for a dinner or something being put together though as well.

Sorry, I should have worded that differently. The big hang out every night will be at the Rosen Centre. This way if people want to go out with their families or other groups there will always be a place afterwards.

I still think a designated dinner saturday night would be awesome. We just need to figure out how many would be able to go and a restaurant that could facilitate us.

We'll definitely stop by the bar at Rosen every night. Friday Night we'll be going to the 501st bash.

Saturday Night I'll have my 7 year old with me, but would definitely dig going to dinner with everyone. Is there a restaurant that you guys have in mind yet?

Now we just need a place. I'm sure one will present itself once everyone gets down there and sees what the options are.

The convention center is on what Id call the strip, plenty of places to eat at..

Dinner will be at 8:00 on Saturday at Bahama Breeze just North of the convention center on International dr. This it's the same location as CV but we have been reassured that we can be seated 8:00. If you arrive , there is a bar and seating area. Please call me with any questions 520-664-8409

Gah,not gonna be able to make this..we have our garrison dinner that night at the same time. thats ok though..im sure i'll run into some of you during the course of the weekend.

IMHO your with the Garrison all the time...or at least can be...TDH On the other hand is world wide. Not as easy to get together.
