I don't get the foot stepping on the game in the first post. Could someone explain that for me? Reminds me of Monty Python or something...

I thought the controls were very easy to get the hang of. Granted it will take a bit to master, but it's really easy to pick up the game and start chucking troopers down the halls! :lol:

wow, i just realized the difficulty i was having with the letter "A" in that previous post. it was like my left pinky finger didn't believe it was there or something. but anyway, i'm reading the book right now, i'm pretty sure that at some point they tell starkillers real name, and i've seen it leaked online already too. if there are no objections i'll post it when i get there in the book.
 
I am having SOOO much fun with this demo. I keep playing through it and discovering new moves and combos. I LOVE grabbing people!

It is the Monty foot, I didn't know how else to end it so i slapped "And now for something completely different" and the Monty foot on. :D

Hhaha wow, that Penny Arcade comic is hilarious.
I have played the demo non-stop since I DLed it on Thursday, I think I'm on my 50th playthru. SO excited for this game, been looking forward to it since summer of '05 when they first released the target render Pre-Vis trailer.
I want to read the novel, but I will wait until after I beat the game a few times, so I don't spoil anything for myself.
I'm also really disappointed at the lack of PC love... shame.
Anyway, the combat and excessive use of the Force is so fun. I am just a little bit put off by the fact the lightsaber acts more like a stun baton than an actual saber, but for gameplay and balancing I can see why it's not a one hit kill weapon.
Too bad there won't be any dismemberments, I'd love to see body parts fly, Jedi Outcast style!

Did anybody else find the hidden Republic Commando helmet? Possibly a hint at a new RC game, I hope!

I'm probably going to take off the day it comes out.
 
No PC version?
Maybe they didn't want the game modded mercilessly. Or hacked easily. Or ripped. Or all three.

Still, the PSP version looks nice. I heard (from PSM) there's the EpII Mace vs Jango battle... Playable.

i grabbed the xbox version of the demo. i'll have to try the PS3 one to see how it compares.

i also picked up the force unleashed graphic novel last night. good stuff! i'm more excited about this than i have been for any of the recent star wars stuff... i think this is going to kick off lots of cool stuff.

and cool costumes too! the new shaak ti look, the apprentice, the battle damaged vader...
