Suggestions for Kid Clone Trooper Armor

Hey there fellow Fett-fans. I know this is a mainly Mandalorian website, but this is Star Wars related. :)
I'm considering either buying, or making a Clone Trooper costume, for my 7 yr old daughter. So, I am appealing to the collective wisdom and experience of this forum for input and experience. Here are a few questions I have.

1. Should I buy or scratch-make kid armor?
2. If I buy, suggestions on who/where and what to look out for.
3. Clone trooper costume-building websites.

Thanks in advance for all the input. :cheers

IF you were to scratch build it, , she will have outgrown it by the time that you were finished.

Better to buy a set, but I don't know of any off hand.

...i bought armor for my 8 yr old...I'm in the process of putting it together...just been trimming and putting the blaster and helemt together...waiting for summer to do the whole suit...email from the website and you can get what you need...save the headache of trying to do the armor yourself....the stuff you get is like putting a model together...very good instructions on the website too...1st class all the way

I 2nd that. My garrison built a set of this for a Make a Wish kid last spring. Its decent quality stuff.

I'm glad that y'all did that for the Make A Wish foundation. (y)(y)(y) I'd love to help with a project like that.

One motivation behind making my own Boba Fett costume is that I'd like to be able to visit children in the hospital once I get it further along. My daughter actually suggested it. :) I'm not in the 501st, nowhere near the level of quality, but I'd like to visit hospitals as a non-501st independent just to bring a few smiles to children.

I made Rex for my son, William, 7 years old - took around 40 hours as I recall:

Awesome Rex costume! :cheers

If you don't mind me asking, what was the ball-park price tag for the armor? The kids clone armor website did not have any prices listed.

thanks for the feedback... unfortunately he got tired of it... perhaps more a daddy's project.. But was fun building and gave me some skills on bondo, clone etc.

I paid around 250 USD and got both EII and EIII helmets..

Great kit and great communication! Go for it!

Wow, that's an amazing clone! I wish I could get one for so cheap

I probably would have killed for a kid sized Star Wars Stormtrooper costume when I was a kid lol
