    Steampunk Boba

Not sure if this Steampunk Boba has been posted here before (I've been away for awhile) but I saw it posted on the RPF and thought, "I know some people that would like to see this!"

I wen to the outlandarmour website to see if there were more pics (specifically the jetpack), but kept getting an error message when I clicked on the Star Wars part.

    Anyway...thought I'd share!

Looks like the costume is loosely based off the "Sillof" sculptures from a couple years back.

Either way it looks pretty sick.

There was a guy in this (or extremely close to it) armor at DragonCon this past year. I think I counted 2 or 3 other Steampunk Boba/Mandos (not including my joke armor with the atatched cowboy hat ) running around at various times. All of them (with the exception of mine, anyway) looked way cool.

Its a nice costume, definitely a tribute to steampunk and starwars alike, and incredible detail to boot as well as craftmanship, but IMO, humble as it is, ive seen this before and didnt think "boba fett".

I think that the hallmark of soemthign that is distinctly boba fett is the RF shape, the T-Visor shape and color, and a full head-to-crotch armor compliment.

Im not down on the OP's image or the designer of that costume, but it doesnt scream fett to me.

This is kind of like a Boba Fett/Kroenen steampunk mashup to me. But I really like the detail on it!

Met this guy a couple times at a few cons here in Atlanta. If you're interested he works with (leads I guess) a costuming group in Georgia called Outland Armor. http://www.outlandarmour.com/home.html He lead a really awesome and informative steampunk panel and has made LOTS of other really awesome costumes (Link, Gambit, Spawn, ect). On top of the that he was an awesome, friendly guy! And his steampunk Boba is a work of art .

Love it! It reminds me of a set of Steampunk goggles I did a while back (I have since changed the nose piece to a more appropriate darker leather).
