This morning I went out with the telescope and took these pictures with my cell phone.

From left to right, you can see Callisto, Io, Europa, and Ganymede (largest moon in the solar system).

About 30 minutes before Luna passes in front of Venus.

About 10 minutes before Luna passes in front of Venus.

About 5 minutes before Luna passes in front of Venus.

I envy you, I've always wanted a telescope but never had the chance to get one. Astronomy is one of my great loves.

Wow, you have a really nice scope! I have a little one I got from my Grandpapa. Scopes are great fun for us star-lovers! Beautiful pictures!

Forget the cellphone. What kind of telescope are you using? I want to build a reflector tele with my daughter when she gets a bit older. I should actually be slowly gathering up the mirror and stuff now, so as to spread the cost out over some time.

What ever the University has I really don't remember, but I donated it to the school recently because I just haven't been using it at all.

I just put the cell phone up to the eyepiece, and snapped photos
