Star Wars Holiday Special

Did you actually watch the Holiday Special? I'm ashamed to say it with "Star Wars" as a prefix. George Lucas said he wants to personally hunt down and destroy every existing copy of that atrocity. He said that for a reason. Ugh... I'm gonna go cry in the fetal position for a few hours.

Did I see Bea Arthur singing.......my eyes and ears needs some acid washing, pardon me.

Now that I have seen that I think I will take a warm bath and shave my wrists...

As for the Holiday Special, I have, ALWAYS said to my friends this; Every Star Wars fan should see it, but only a TRUE fan would want to see it through...
It took me nearly four days to watch that atrocity to the end myself...

I just watched this for the first (and last) time the other night. I had heard that it was really bad, but WOW, it was far worse than anything I could have ever imagined. I literally wanted to pound my head against the table to make the wookie noises go away. I sit back and look at how much of a disappointment SW Ep.1 was, or how much Lucas screwed up parts of the Special Editions, but those don't even come close to this. I can see why George wants every copy destroyed, it was completely unbearable to watch.

So thats where they got the ideas for gift items in the Star Wars Galaxies game. For one of the life days they gave us Pocket aquariums and the seductive chair thing. o.0
