Yup got my ticket and our garrison will be trooping this event in Seattle on Oct. 13.
Supposed to go as Boba to the Premiere in Anaheim next week...
I'll be Boba in Bridgeport, CT on 11/10. :)
I suited up as Boba for the press conference in Portland.
I'll be trooping as a TK in Los Angeles
Someone here going to be Boba at the Los Angeles show?
Im going to the New Orleans show
Sounds like it's going to be a great show. I'll be at the Sunrise, FL show on Oct. 30.
Is anyone going to Boba the Denver event on Oct 18th? I have tickets to the show.
Good to hear that there will be troopers in LA. I will be there for a business next week, and I am going to the show on October 1st !
Looking forward to meeting some West Coast Troopers !
we're trooping the manchester nh one, but i'm just going as a ticket holder.
I'm going on Oct 4th in Phoenix. Is anyone doing a troop here in the 107 degree heat?
I saw a show on TV that showed some scenes of an actual show and some of the props that were on display. It looks like it will be awesome. I had to laugh, they had a lifesize Don Post Boba Fett as one of them. Which movie was that in :? LOL :skull
Going to Bridgeport show.
I'll be trooping the Montreal show on November 25th as Jango. Looks like it's gonna be quite the event.
I got my tiks for Oct 21 in OKC
I'm going to be trooping for this on the 30th at the Bank Atlantic center in Ft. Lauderdale, I can't wait!
Just got home from the Denver show.
wow.
That was possibly the most amazing thing I have ever seen/heard in my life. I dont even know how to describe how amazing the concert was.
This was also my first time seeing movie quality costumes in person and seeing the detail in real life is alot different than over the internet. Whoever the Fett was, you were awesome. I was able to get a pic with you before the giant line of kids formed lol

(wearing my TDH shirt of course)
Got my tickets to the Columbus show in December. Anyone suiting up for that one?
Thinkin bout hittin the Tampa show.
hi
coming to ottawa on nov 24 $350 for platium tickets little high
The Ottawa show, which I'm trooping as well, has three prices for tickets that are available from the Scotiabank Place ticket office only.
$32 for the nose bleed seats
$53 for the middle range
$72 for the floor seating
Any way you cut it, with that big screen you'll be able to see from any where.
I'm gonna be at the one on Ft. Lauderdale, the prices are about the same, but with the location seating is more a concern for the sound quality.. but darn I wish I had enough stuff done to troop it.... guess I'll just fanboy it up and enjoy the moment
The Denver show didn't sell out so even though I bought nose-bleed tickets they gave me a free upgrade to floor seats! :D

Hey guys, The South Florida Everglades checking in.
We were invited by the Florida Panthers/ Bank Atlantic Center to participate in a pre promotion for the Star Wars concert coming to Fort Lauderdale and we were able to do the opening ceremony ( Dropping the hockey puck) for the Panthers hockey game, It was kind of last minute invite, With only a handful of troopers were needed, But was allowed to add a few more right before the event.
This was by far one of the best troops I've ever been to, Hockey fans are NUTS!! I've never been or seen a hockey game before last night, And I plan on not making that mistake again.
On Monday the 19th, I participated in a Video skit with Stanley the Panther, Sort of a light saber duel, We spent three hours shooting this thing and I actually missed the piece during the second time-out, But was able to contact our host and she was able to get it played for us at the end of the game!! :D :D Video coming soon. 8)
Good times for sure and A big thank you to all that were able to come out. :D
Here are some stills from the fight scene.

One more week and it's on! I can't wait
I'm excited I bought tickets for the Toledo show the day they went on sale. I may not have a costume I'm fixing up my Sith Lord hoodie.
I'm going to the Auburn Hills, MI show on the 28th of November. It'll hopefully be my first venture in my completed Fett.
went to the dallas show last weekend it was freaking awesome
unbeliavable show
We'll be trooping 4 shows up here in New England.
- Wed, Nov 11: Providence, RI
- Thur, Nov 12: Manchester, NH
- Sat, Nov 14: 2 shows, Boston, MA
My Wife and I got floor seats for the Dec. 1st show in toledo. we are in the 11th row. I am very excited!
We are officially going to the Auburn Hills show. Very excited for the 28th. I've only heard good things about it on here and elsewhere.
Saw the show last night in Bridgeport CT - awsome!! Hats off to Mad Martigan and guys from the 501st everyone looked great. Mara Jade was hot, even my wife got a picture with her!
Definately worth the trip to CT. Only thing we had prob with was the weak Lucas Arts costume display that was with the tour - they maybe had a dozen or so pieces. No fett!
Why, thank you sir! :D
Actually got a few pics from the event with some of my upgrades to the suit and my waistline from the last several months! Suited up before the show:

New favorite trooping picture. Was very hard not to slip into the Robot Chicken sketch here.

Best part of the whole show for me: the lobby/breezeways inside at Harboryards were smaller than most arenas, so they made me and Vader stay outside -- knowing there would be crowds. Well, that annoyed some of the VIPs who were already inside when we made our appearance. So the tour staff asked us to be suited up outside after the show. Big problem in a Fett, since it take some time to get back in the suit.
However, I'd anticipated this by wearing the hoodie and large warmup pants. So, I took off the helmet, jetpack, knees, ammo and girth belts, and kept everything else on underneath! Even left the chest lights on. In effect, I just looked like a bulky guy in a sweatshirt.
When I came out of the dressing room area, though, some kid saw the sweatshirt and said "Dad, look it's Boba Fett!!". Dad said "Aww...sorry son, it's just a sweatshirt." Not wanting to dissappoint, I turned towards him and did a "Superman" reveal -- unzipping and flashing him the armor and lights underneath as I quickly walked by and making a "shhh...". Son, dad, and Mom all flipped out. "It is Boba Fett!!" :D
I also hammed it up a bit for our guys, too.

Definitely a good time!
I love the pics madmartigan, especially the last one. It's kind of like super hero Fett with a Fett hoodie disguise.
That is a slick idea!!! I bet that kid will remember that "Fett reveal" for the rest of his life. Super cool. And, may I say, Awesome suit vod! :)
The 501st is officially trooping the 11-28-09 show in Auburn Hills, MI. They have me signed up to Boba the 3:30 show and Gator Fett to Boba the 7:30 show that day.
I trooped this event on Friday with the guys from my local Garrison. It was at the IZOD center in Rutherford, NJ. It was simply and amzing event from the pics with fans to the show.
Tomorrow night is the concert here in Ottawa, I'm so stoked!!! Then it's off to Montreal the next day for "take two". :cheering
I'll be sure to post up any pics that I can get my hands on.:D
Hey Jango72, If you get the oppertunity to take some pics of the
Han in Carbontite (if its there)...could you take some extra (Im building one......when I get around to it..Ive got almost everything together though). Have fun!!!
I wonder if that is because this exhibit has to move around so often? Some of the smaller pieces that require less hands on setting up are real props and the more complicated stuff is just an old statue. For the average fan I think it doesn't matter... its us guys who care... ;)
hi
i went last night here in ottawa WOW what a show. even better that us the bought the cheap seat were upgraded to 100 level
The show was amazing!! It was also my first time seeing a 501st troop in real life, and everyone's costumes looked so rad! I didn't get much chance to talk to Boba Fett and Jango Fett (Jango72?) but here's a pic of me with them and Zam Wesell:
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...h/SWottawa.jpg
Definitely makes me want to work on my costume even more! Looks like you guys could use a Dengar along for the ride too, hmm? *gears gringing in brain*
Yep... that's me as Jango!! Boba is JRock and the Zam is none other than Darkflower.
The concerts were great, as we got the opportunity to troop both the Ottawa and Montreal shows. Sadly, the HiC wasn't the srceen used one, as the side panels were just carved in resin... not the tech-looking panels we see on screen.
Bummer really.
i'll be in the third row in cleveland on the 5th of december. any body else gonna be there? unfortunatly all i'll have in a wearable fashion is my bucket. but i'll be there representin tdh as best as i can.l
i trooped our local show at Nassau coliseum in NY last weekend as boba...my first offical troop with boba.....i was so excited i had my GF put the cape on the wrong side...doe!!! LOL, none the less, it was an AWESOME troop and even more awesome show!...heres a few pics..

Hey man, you guys looked rad, and it's very cool how much poise you all had when dealing with the many people asking for photos. I would have liked to chat you both up a bit but it was busy and I didn't want to take up all your time. I did mention I was on The Dented Helmet to jRock and he asked my username but that's about it.
Quick question: what helmets did you guys have? Scratchbuilt? I recently bought the Limited Edition one from the Comic Book Shoppe in Nepean.
JRocks helmet is a Don Post 95 I believe. Mine is a scratch built and Darkflowers Zam helmet... I'm not sure of the maker, but it's a tad short front to back, so I'm going to have a go at scratch making her a new one.
I would've loved to chat with you, but the crowd was unreal. I have to keep in mind though, the crowd in Montreal was even bigger! I couldn't move more than one step before someone was tugging on my sleeve or tapping my shoulder to get my attention for a photo op. :suprise
Indeed the turnup in Montreal was amazing!!! Ian and I met in our respective costumes in Montreal once and eventually we HAD to split up because we were making a huge crowd gather in the entrance... lol
So many pictures were taken and I have seen almost none tot his date sadly...
One of my best trooping event yet if not THE best. :D
The sad part is that after we split up, I don't think that either of us made more than 15 or 20 feet apart... then we got mobbed yet again! :wacko
Our concert crowd was crazy as well. I've easily done over 100 Star Wars costume events, and this one was probably the most amount of pictures I've had taken. We were out there about an hour and a half and by the time we got out on the floor, it was non stop picture taking the whole time.
I saw Bet's on Fett for a couple seconds during the crowd of photos. Great costume, dude!:thumbsup
Awesome pics! Great job everyone!
I had a great time at the Boston show. A super fan in a Fett hoodie was one of the first people to get a pic with me in my Vader, and I thought he was going to squeal when he said thanks and I replied "youre welcome...BOUNTY HUNTER."
I went last night and it was GREAT!!!!! Anthony did a awesome job hosting the event.I met alot of 501st members in their outfits, and great laser effects!!!If Star Wars in concert comes near you make sure to go see it.Thanks Mr Fett for letting me know that Justin was going to be their as Boba Fett from the 501st.I took a picture of him after the show with his bucket. Here are pictures from last night.Oh and the HIC was not the real one either on display. No lights on controll panel.Jeff:fettpre:jangoI'm having problems uploading all my pictures so I'll upload a couple at a time through the day.
Just got back from the Columbus concert. What a blast! Even though I had seen most of the montages from the DVD that I got with the ROTS soundtrack, nothing compares to hearing the music performed by a live top notch orchestra.
Whoever the Boba and Jango were, your suits are great. Thanks for the picture, I would have stopped to talk but I had to beat up some little kids to get to you as it was.
Hey thanks!!! I was Jango in C-Bus
Yeah Me and Andy took a few steps off the escalator and were mobbed... we had no handler, so we literally had to be "saved" by our 6'8" Vader just to get desuited, lol... but it is all fun and the kids (and adults) loved us!
Thanks for the pics!!! I remember you, because Andy was making comments about your awesome hoodie!!
Darth Vorhees, your cape is on the wrong side. :-) Just to mention!
