Star Wars Boba Jango pics (from The exhibition)

Great stuff! Thanks for sharing!

On your next trip, if they do let you in with a tripod, can you be sure to get some really good close up shots of the gauntlet rocket to help out with the discussions that are going on now of it's origins and possible found parts, materials it's made from etc.

Go for it! I have done it a couple of times, but we desperately need some fresh new photos! The one thing I would encourage you to do is try your very best to think hard about each photo you are taking (time consuming) and make sure the item you are photographing is as straight on as possible. I took hundreds of pics, but so often I took them at angles that made the photos totally worthless for scaling purposes or for trying to make templates. I am VERY excited to see what you come up with!

nice pictures! I'm sure that most of you are well aware that these very well may not be the original suits consiering the many number of suits that were mad for the actual filming and then the numerous permieres, so if you're looking to use these as sources just keep that in mind. Though i don't really see hows theres a way to be 100% accurate anyways. This is still an exelant resourse, and at the very least something to oogle at, so thans for the pictures vod!

Ummm.... yeah... actually they ARE the original suits... What are you talking about?

I was only saying they might not be. I don't know if they are or not. If you say they are fine, doesn't matter to me anyways. But there are more "original" boba and jango suits out there. I simply was pointing that out, not that I think these are "fake."

yeah, there are a bunch of different suits. i think at this point people have matched up scratch and dents well enough to be able to place all of the variants that have been shown regularly.

to me, all that really matters is more shots of the rotj helmet ;)

They have other parts and pieces out there and in the archives, but no other complete suits put together then what is on the AOSW and MOM exhibits that I know of. Unless Lucas has one in his bathroom closet for safe keeping.

Sorry, not trying to jump on you, but I feel like you are just making some very broad-stroked generalizations that have little to do with reality but may place doubt in the minds of newer/less educated members and make them unnecessarily question the validity of these costumes. Are there multiple costumes? Yes, there are...at least 6 complete Fett costumes, and more if you count what appears to be stunt pieces. Almost every piece of the exhibited costumes has been traced back to either screen used or preproduction parts, so making very generalized statements as you have might make you feel like you are contributing in a positive way but in essense is only creating unnecessary doubt. Again, this may come across as harsh, but I think it would be a disservice to allow a statement like " these very well may not be the original suits" to stand uncontested when these ARE the original suits and they ARE an exceptional source of reference.

My apologizes. I was not intending to cast dobut on the validity of these costumes. I was just simply making an observation, I'm sorry that it was out of place. I don't pretend to know anything about Fett armor so I'll leave it up to those of you who do to make the call. Again, I apologize for my misplaced comments. I'll leave it to you.

 Alfredo, Excellent pictures friend, I wanted to have been there with you!!!!!!!
