St. Paddy's Day Parade - New Haven, CT -- *PIC INTENSIVE*

Got my first official 501st troop in on Sunday, and it was a blast! About 40 members of the 501st Connecticut Garrison, Rebel Legion Kamino Base, and special guests from the Empire City Garrison were in attendance. The weather was just about perfect....

I had made a few upgrades to the suit that I was itching to try out and see: new braids from Lewis (amazing looking!!) and a set of Mark Chengs to replace my CABoots (totally psyched about these!). Had a costume malfunction before I even suited up when the scope snapped off the EE-3 in transit -- but that's why the Fett Man carries Slow Zap CA glue at all times. :D

I had been warned ahead of time about how rowdy this particular event had been in the past (especially around an area I dubbed The Beer Garden). But with Ruby from the ECG running interference as Chewie (he really was the star of the parade), this was about as rowdy as it got -- the odd fan or two running up and telling me "Fett is the man!!"

Couple more shots while marching:

The "Now, where did I put the keys to Slave 1????" shot:

All in all, a great time and I was delighted to meet my fellow CT Legionnaires for the first time. Even better, I think I may FINALLY be able to stop tweaking the suit....until I decide I have to switch the whole darn thing to ESB. :D

Those are great pictures! What's really cool to me is when i see different styles of architecture in the background...ie....old houses and such.

Thanks for sharing man!

Nice pics man and kudos on your first official troop with the CTG! You'll have to come visit us up north a bit more in the NEG sometime!

Sure, for St. Patty's Day but we've got all sorts of events we could potentially use you for. ;) We've got Whistle8mp too.... we're stocked with Bobas in the NEG! And love it!

Wow...you guys are stacked! I'm the only 501st approved Boba Fett in the CTG, I think, though we have another that is really close and looks pretty sharp, too.

And you guys are so faaaar from me. I'm thinking the ECG could use some more Fett love, though. ;)

Kidding! I'd love to visit up there some time!
