Spilt paint

Well i started painting my Terminal Fettler lid tonight. I got the major damage on the dme masked off and then laid down a nice coat of Humbrol 78 green onto the dme and cheek pieces. So far so good.

Anyways i then brought my airgun inside to clean in the kitchen. TF lid in one hand and airgun paint pot in the other . I then thought i'd better check to see if the bottom of the pot is free from paint before placing it on the kitchen work top (turns pot upside down to look). Yep half a pot of Humbrol 78 green straight onto the kitchen floor :(

Good job the wife had gone to bed, managed to clean up the entire mess and think i have gotten away with it.

happens to the best of men

but be careful, women have eyes like eagles when it comes to stains/dirt and unclean parts, especially on 'homebase' ...being the kitchen ofcourse ^^

very true, but i use to be in the army and just pretended i had a room inspection. I will probably get caught out as the kitchen is now cleaner than when she went to bed

Yes, women have eyes like eagles. . . and noses like bloodhounds! Why do you think women like all those scented candles.
Better make sure there are no paint or thinner fumes floating around!
