So who else is snowed in?...

Out here in Alexandria, VA we received about 2 feet of snow on Saturday...needless to say, if you had to go to the grocery store, Wal-Mart, or anywhere, you were doing it on foot. Even if you did take the chance to shovel your car out, there was a force much worse than the snow...

D.C. drivers. I grew up in New Jersey, and I thought THEY were some of the worst drivers the United States has seen, but nope, gold medal goes to all the DC, Northern VA. drivers that can't drive in the snow.

Anyhoot, who else got snowed into your homes, and how much snow did you get? Or, if you were brave enough to take on the elements, did anything crazy happen to you guys out on the road?

I'm up in northern MA and we didn't get snowed in by this last storm (for once) but I know how you feel about VA drivers in this weather. I've been to Norfolk a few times in the winter and they just totally panic when it snows! I remember seeing 5 accidents in one day and there was only a couple of inches on the ground :wacko.

Didn't get snowed in just yet around here but in our province, you are obligated to have winter tires starting december 15th up until march I believe... it helps a lot ;)

How's this for irony? There's more snow on the ground in the North-Eastern US than there is up here in Toronto. There's a dusting of snow, but I can see a lotta grass out there on my lawn! Looking more than it is .

Before you get too jealous, usually it's whiter than Hoth here this time of year.

We had 8 inches of snow here in my part of NC. Not that much, but enough to make all the old folks run on bread, milk, and eggs. You would think they were predicting the end of the world with the amount of grocery store shopping that goes on when they call for snow around here.

Its official.
Tulsa, Oklahoma had its first blizzard warning in 50 years.
My door is halfway filled with snow, and I hear an hour and a half down the road, in OKC, everything is shut down with nearly a foot in snow.

This state has no idea how to handle precipitation.

As far as dutch standards go, we too had some major snow fall these past few days. Too bad it' s clearing up allready, I love the snow!!

Well here in Iowa we had about 13 inches of snow where i live and from last night till today we have got about 14 to 15 inches more and it is still snowing on and off. I like snow but the ice we got before the snow and and the constant cleaning out of the driveway after the snow plow goes by is getting old fast. So i am just staying inside and working on my Dalek Build. Everyone have a great xmas............. Rob

Yup...we got almost 14in here where I'm at in OKC. Its funny thought Bortas...my City there in Iowa got snow too...

This kinda sucks, all my family went up to Missouri on Wednesday while my pops and I had to work, we were gonna leave yesterday morning, but they closed the highways on us...
