So I Helped Make and Rode a Dewback...

So, I hinted to this in another thread recently and got a few bites. In case you haven't seen this elsewhere yet. I've been a bit busy for a little over a month on a construction project with the New England Garrison. A group of us drew up the plans and constructed a life sized (17 foot long), self propelled Dewback to ride on it the Woburn, MA Halloween parade.

It was a labor of love and I've got to tell you... one of the highlights of my 501st costuming "career".

I also built an Ahsoka Tano costume with my wife for my 10 year old daughter for the parade so I've been just a bit busy. ;)

Enjoy!

That's Bryan Morton... He's the guy who was the Anakin in the Rose Parade for the 501st a few years ago. Local guy and great costumer.

Yes, the driver was Dion Calheta...one of the masterminds behind this project with me. He sat under the tail and drove it for over 2 miles in the parade.

That is amazing!!! My garrison would just love to have that for our anual star light parade. Let me know when you don't need it anymore. ;)

Wow:eek:
These things never happen here in the cold North where i live.
Really awesome pics.
