Snake Eyes boots and gloves from GI Joe Movie

Leather? Really? Who wears a giant white leather coat like that?? That doesn't seem comfortable at all. Nor does it seem like that would help his fighting ability. What about the pants?

Perhaps the Snake Eyes pants are an older model of the Crye Precision pants. The stuff Duke wears by is theirs so perhaps Snake Eyes has the same brand. It's not their newest stuff but perhaps one of their older models. They have the velcro on the fly and the pattern looks similar though the new ones have shin pads and extra pockets. I also think the material they make is smooth and not rip stop like most BDUs. Just my 2c.

Got my storm shadow sneakers in today! For a cheap chinese rip off the quality is VERY good and the overall look is relatively close!

The original Dior Homme shoes appear to be all leather (as are these replicas) but the stormshadow sneakers have a cloth part at the ankle... Not sure if they added that so they could have the inside zipper added or what...

The one issue I have is that these are huge on me. I got size 44 (US 10) because I wanted to make sure they fit. I believe they would be closer to 11.5 or 12! Anyone got big feet and need stormshadow shoes?

At $100 I think this is a steal considering the originals go between $450-$850 if you could even find them!!!

These came from ioffer and took about 12 days to arrive from China which I thought was pretty good!

Just read on another board that Snake Eyes' watch might be an upcoming watch from Oakley.... that seems really unlikely, but I thought I would throw it out there anyway.

I am actually sending the shoes to another board member. Hopefully they will fit him and I will just pick up another pair.

Don't take the watch thing to heart... I just saw it posted on another board that the visor was two of Oakley's football visors fused together (which seems... far fetched, even though we know Oakley provided the visor), the the boots were the Oakley SI (already knew that one) and that the watch was a new watch coming from Oakley. Might not be anything to it, but I thought I would at least throw it out here in case there is something to it. The thing is, don't you think they would have released that to coincide with the movie?

A number of people told me they missed this part of the film, which I thought was one of the very best, so I thought I would throw up a could of screen grabs (poor as they are) to show Storm Shadow snapping his swords together to create a double bladed sword like Darth Maul.

Except Obi doesn't fight with two tonfas with blades on the ends of them. Of all the weapons in that movie those were the strangest ones...

Overall, the movie was terrible. It is just my childhood love of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow as well as my appreciation of storm shadow's costume design that is causing me to pursue this. While I didn't care for the movie at all, a lot of our members did...

See...thats what I have in mind Artimus. Like the GI Joe I remember from being a kid, I just feel if I see it, it might tarnish that memory. But at the same time I know it is just Hollywoods ploy to try and make money of something that was good, no matter how terrible it turns out.

So with that said, I will probably go see it, just for the fact I wanna do Snake Eyes' costume!

You guys think Art will have some screen-accurate abs with his Storm Shadow costume? ;)

LOL!!!!:lol:lol::lol: it killed me!

Been reading this topic from top to bottom and it's superb!!!! You guys rock!

..."screen accurate abs"... I cannot stop laughing, you over did it!

Maulfett, how's that costume coming up? Did you finished with the belts and all? Can wait to see that costume "up close and personal"

Found so many quality pictures of Storm Shadow that now I can definetly make that jacket.

My favorite part of the movie!(y)
