SLAVE 1

Personally I have the Jango fett ship built for the 3/4 figures by hasbro, and the bounty hunter screen cap above, looks more true to the model I have..on hand.

Personally I also like the look of the bounty hunter version than the galaxies one..but tats just my take on it.

great movie sets bro! wow! very cool. I wish i could be apart of it in some way or another. It would be a great place for a photo shoot. How big is your production team? How long did it take you to get them finished?

when you start work on your slave 1 sets you HAVE to take progress pics. those are amazing! tutorial please!

Thanks guys.....yes the project is huge but we have been working slowly and steadily on the film. Sets don't build themselves :) and between myself and a couple of friends each set took about a month to build from scratch, paint, and dress.

I am in the process of finishing and shooting a palace set/prison basement...after that we do the back landing ramp and the cockpit of the Slave 1.

And on the side we are building a full scale movable Bantha and a full scale Sarlacc mouth.

foxbat ..i got the file tried opening it and my computer crashed....nice! ohh well.

lucca ..i have a site..its not much..i use it for the cast members etc...to check out pics etc.... When I get a bit more shot I will look for someone that can do me up a kick butt web site.

You know how it is...everyone says "Yeah, I can do you a web site...or my buddy can..etc..." then nothing.....so if anyone out there would like to attempt a web site for me....pm me and for sure you get a credit. :)

DMZBADGER,those sets are fantastic! You should rent a space when you're done with them, set them back up and open up a bar for real patrons! The first Star Wars fan bar!(y)

can you email me one pic to try it that way as a test?

Thanks for the comments guys.....it's funny we had so many people walk into the Cantina set and say...wow you should open a real bar in here...LOL

Others say to me...You are not seriously going to tear this down are you? to each set we build...my response is "Ummm yeah...that's how its done in hollywood ;) build a set and then strike the set...I wished I had the room to keep the sets and do a web cast series but I leave that up to the "maker" and his tv series ;)

KNow what you mean a bout the sets, we build really cool sets at our company here and then of course have to strike them after the shoot. We had a wizard castle set a couple of times and I brought my son in to take pictures of him in his Link costume. Hope you at least have some room to store some of the better set pieces.

The only reason why I ask everyones opinions on set designs is that I want to get it right...no use putting all this time and energy into something to find out I flubbed something.

So Foxbat sends me a link to the star wars site...with behind the scenes of AOTC and Boba Jr jumping around in the cockpit. Great reference of the cockpit....The question is:

Is this the same cockpit Boba Fett was in during ESB ? (i know it is such a quick shot of him from behind and you see nothing really)

Do you think POST ROTJ he would have all 3 chairs in the cockpit?

I assume the 2 back chairs would retract into the wall (there are slots for them) and maybe fold up out of the way??

The wall is solid metal..how does he get into the cockpit? I assume again that there is a hatch ladder to the lower level?

once you bounce some answers to me I will ask a couple more...and then its pick up the power tools time :)

Ok that's what I was planning...but how does Fett and guest get into the cockpit?

I have them in the script running up the back of the Slave1 ramp then it cuts to them just sitting down in the cockpit......I guess I could have them out of their seats and just sitting down strapping in.
