    Well,
    1. TDH doesn't need that trash on here and
    2. Probably not safe for work.
Check that link above if you want to see some of the hoe-ness.

So I just got back and it was just as I feared; Juggies > Fett.
I wasn't the only person upset tho, a lot of entries were pretty upset. I am pretty sure the judges were drunk as hell, so they just made sluts wiggle their butts and bare some cleavage and gave them a pass.
Next time don't wear the flight suit, and add a little more wiggle. haha . I entered my son in a costume contest they only judged on three categories funniest, scariest, and most original.... They would have to add Bad *** if a Fett's going to win. Anyways you obviously put alot of work into it looks great so Congrats.

Thanks Charles! I'm going to try to convince the gf to do something like that next year haha

So I just got off the phone with her and she said she PROMISES to email me the pics tonight. Sorry guys, gotta wait just a little bit more, but trust me I hate having to wait too!

Thanks. She lived to be sixteen, which is pretty old for a lab. Plus, she was blind and had hardly any teeth.

I can only imagine the frustration. Having soo many people take pictures and get excited about yours only to be beat by "hoochies" in store bought costumes. Reminds me of this killer fish costume I made for my pug at the rescue picnic- only to be beat by a gang of pugs in store bought oz costumes. How, exactly, is that fair? I thought more of those girls would have the exact same outfits, but I did see a few bumble bees and two Little Red Riding Hoods. I loled. I made my costume since I have a lot of experience with russian tutus, but not for the contest- just for fun.

And I'm sure your girlfriend's feet were hurting... Actually most everyone's were. Imagine the people who were there from 6pm-2am. Ouch. My feet were in pointe shoes. I'm pretty used to my feet being abused from dance, so it wasn't too bad (especially since I didn't stay long).

    Finally some pics!

Getting suited up for the very first time, only minutes before leaving, just as I am putting on the helmet. (try to ignore the gauntlet missile, kind of forgot to paint that and did a rush job on it about an hour before)

Obligatory pelvic thrust to test everything out.

Me and my girlfriend. I can haz a cat 2!

Me and a Predator! Wish I had a chance to talk to him; bet he knows Ruffkin.

    DuffMan! OH YEAH!

A fellow bounty hunter, Dog! That mullet was out of control!

TURTLE POWER! Donatello was somewhere else, but I loved the fact they had pizza boxes. Go Ninja Go Ninja GO! (gawd I loooove being a TURTLE!!)

Kickin' it oldschool with Megatron! For all cardboard, his costume looked awesome!

That's it for now, I should have a few more soon. There was a pic taken with Mario, some Ghost Busters, and the Reno Sheriff's Dept. A few more probably. Saw an awesome looking Agent 47 from Hitman there, but didn't get a pic.

Now that I am finally done with this version of my costume, it is time to take a break and relax for a while. Then it's on to the upgrades and Ver.2!
Need to get a better belt, a Taco belt for sure. The one I had, the velcro kept coming loose and I had to readjust it often. I want to repaint my armor and lid for better accuracy. And of course obtain a jet pack. Longer vest too, since the ab plate hangs off the bottom just a tad. Probably more upgrades too, just don't want to think about it all just yet.

Let me know what you all think!

Thanks D-Man! Can't wait to see your finished suit too!
That belt was frustrating me a little. Might have to do with my tiny waist, and the side pouches weren't positioned right on the belt so they covered the velcro closure partly, causing it to slip. I dunno.

Michaelangelo was always the crazy one!

    Thanks Murphoid!

I should have more pics later tonight, of me with Super Mario, the Tin Man, and the Ghost Busters, and the cast of Reno 911.

    wow... a thread reborn!

one of the things that always hurts costumes like ours is that people just assume it's a rental from a pro shop or something, that it didn't take any effort, since people wouldn't ever actually own or MAKE something like that.

people are usually impressed when i show up at something, but often don't even believe me when i say that i did it myself.

that and the fact that if the judges are Average Males (tm), a hot lady in a g string is always going to be cooler than anything... even boba
