Santa Hat on your bucket?

Has anyone ever tried to put a Santa Hat on your bucket? I'm doing a Santa Parade on Saturday and have been thinking of how I could do this without busting off the RF or damaging the paint. You probably need to use two hats to make one bigger hat to fit over the bucket. Maybe a cut out for the RF?

Anyone got pics?

Cute idea. I'd agree with trying to find one/make one with elastic.
That way you could slip it on and have the RF still sticking out.

Something like this?

I had my sister-in-law make one for me. It did take 2 hats to make 1. As for the range finder all I did was cut a hole in the hat in the area behind the black fuzzy band so it can't be seen.

Blueram, I'm liking that idea. Why black instead of white?
The store I was looking at just happened to have the hats with black or white trim and I just though the black was more fitting for Boba. I could have got one with leopard print and black trim, but I thought that would be way over the top.

So you are the Boba that's going to be in this parade... I couldn't go because they only wanted 1 of each ''named'' characters...

Bring back lots of pics!!

Oh and by the way, nice job on the Santa hat ;) Red/black combo looks great!!

Thanks for the ideas guys, I think cutting the hole is what I will go with.

Hey simon,

Yup, I'm the Boba in the parade in Ottawa. I'm also the guy organizing the troops for it. We built a float. There are 4 troopers coming in from Montreal, you should borrow someones backup costume and come out. Send me an e-mail and I might be able to hook you up with a fellow member who might have a back up costume.
Pics to the float are here, theme is Giant Size toys

I won't be able to make it even if I have a different costume... already planned work... but next year I should be there with a Commander Bacara and some GM's...

I'm working on an art commission from Karen based on this... "Boba Claus".

Y'see... Boba's not the one who gives out good stuff. He's the one the "naughty list" is outsourced to now. And that's official from Karen.

This is Jim-MandalorFett. I made an extra big hat, and then secured it to the bucket by wedging part of the fur down in the edge between the helmet and the "antenna thingy" that sticks up.

Yes you can all laugh at me!!!
