So, we're driving down interstate 40 on the way to Barstow. Art nudges me to check something out. He points out the car in front of us with two stormtrooper helmets in the back window. So I remark that certainly they must be going to comic con. Then I notice they have Nevada plates and I'm like "I bet that is Andy and Clay". So we pull along side and roll down the window and as soon as I saw their hair I knew it was them! Had lunch together in Barstow. Gotta love cons, everywhere you go is someone you know.

Sitting at the San Diego Fan Force booth, only a couple of booths down from the TDH booth. Met several people so far.
I wish i could go this year, instead i'm sitting it out in a boat out in the gulf of mexico. Have fun everyone!!

First night report.... approximately bed time... 2:30am... and we crashed earlier than most. Nothing like staying up half the night with the Sci-Fire crew to get things started!
Sci-Fire crew will get you drunk. Stay away from them or else you'll end up in your hotel room all day the next day.

Just spent almost an hour photographing Snake Eyes and Stormshadows costume. Won't get them uploade until we get back but have pretty good shots of all the pieces.

Coolest thing I saw today; Cruzer, Cruzer's dad, and Cruzer's son; three generations of fans all dressed out in Star Wars costumes! Really cool and inspiring to see the family unity.

So what have we learned today? We have learned thatthe new clones wars will include the Mandolorian planet and at least a dozen unique, legit mandalorian warriors. There will be a considerably larger group of characters to choose to replicate and TDH intends to fully support those who want to replicate these new costumes.
Not only all of this, it seems that Daniel Logan will play a significant role as young Boba in the new live action series. Just so many options for new costumes!!!

Ahhh... Another Comic Con is over and we had a blast. Didn't accomplish everything we set out to do, but did get some things done. One thing is for sure, I need a better flash for my camera! More than props and movies, the true wonder of this event is the time spent with friends! Thanks to all for making it another memorable year!
Nice meeting you all. It was cool to finally meet you too, Craig. Thanks for posting that pic with my Jango. It's pretty much the first time Ive actually gotten to see what my Jango looks like.
Man, I love cons! I am soooo tired but had such a great time seeing old faces and meeting new ones. We've already got ideas for costumes we want to do next year! 4 nights of partying with friends will hopefully last me till next year. Can't wait to do it all over again!!!

I will have my fett for next year! I'm also going to be there all 5 days. Going just sunday was a bust. I heard about great costumes and panels but sunday just didn't cut it. It was sweet meeting Art and Mirax. Thanks again to both of you for helping me with my armor. It was also nice to meet noval talon (sp?). Good guy. Next year its on.

I am pissed. I took over 30 pics and only 2 made it on the card. Not cool. I had pics of the table, Jango 5204 and Foxbatkllr debuting his killer Jango, hot chicks and Zombies.
The 2009 TDH SDCCI Group Photo. Though there was a decent turn out of TDH members, most either did not suit up this year, or were simply were spread around costuming at various other functions.We missed alot of you this year too, but counting the days to next year already, and look forward to seeing all again.

This year's Comic-Con was the most fun for me by far, I loved it!

Had a blast with everyone there Craig, Jeff, Art, Mirax, Alex, Scott, James, the Sci-Fire crew, Andy, Clay, Becky, Lorenzo, Nathan (sorry if I forgot anyone, you know who you are) The TDH dinner was another huge success and we left that place in ruins lol. It was great seeing everyone again...the usual crew and some new faces...it is what makes Con such a great experience and something to to look forward to for the next one...
Hopefully I can troop even more in 2010...was only able to troop on Fri and Sat this year...

I love all the awesome pics! You guys look great! I wish I could have been there.The last time I made a trip to a convention it was a complete disaster for me. Yahoo had compiled a bunch a photos of all the best costumes at Comic Con and I saw a photo of a ROTJ Fett in there. I was wondering if it one of you guys?

Fantastic pictures. I really wish I could of made it this year to actually meet some of you in person. It was just a few years ago when i happened across PredatorMV at Celebration 4 and had a 15 minute talk about how to build a Fett costume and this site. Been here ever since.

Thus far, I have been unable to locate any. When you are in costume, you don't necessarily carry a camera.
I guess I really should have attached the detonator. It looks odd without it.
I finally got home from the con. It only took two extra days... Sorry I missed out on the dinner, I had no idea what day it was (meaning I didn't know what day I was on). It was good to see old faces again up at Jose and Dana's penthouse. The con was amazing, I actually managed to see most of the stuff I wanted to.
I got some interesting experiences, like being featured on Marvel.com for a day or two as their banner for their SDCC coverage. (I am in the spider suit in my pics)
