Ruffkintoy MIA?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if Chuck (ruffkintoy) is alright or still around? I tried sending him several PM's but to no avail. Chuck, if your PM box is full please email me at td2253@cox.net. I hope things are doing well with you.

Thanks!
-Gene

I think you would have best bet emailing him. I caught him online a few days ago and he IMed me back promptly. I'm actually expecting some things from him soon.

I know of some people who are waiting for their Gauntlets. they have sent him PM's but have not gotten a response and are quite worried.

Thanks Matt, I actually got his email...I'll try to contact him that way.

Thanks Ben, I can be patient when need be, but no contact for about a month even after several PM's can be cause for alarm. So hopefully we'll all hear from him soon.

your not the only one Gene  a couple of other people PM'd me saying the same thing. I'm sure he's busy and will get those out soon.

Ben. (y)

Yeah that's not a problem, I can understand being busy with real life and being swamped with orders but at least let your customers know what is going on. He doesn't have to contact every single one of us, but instead he can post a thread that he is busy, or sick etc. so that we know what's going on and in turn can be extra patient.

I just got a bunch of missiles from him, and I had the best luck through his e-mail.I don't think he has been around here for a bit.

The best way to contact him is through email. He is probably just a little backed up right now. Just be persitant with the email, and he will get back to you. He is a great guy to deal with. He will come through for you.

I just sent him an email so hopefully I'll hear from Chuck soon! Thank you guys for all your help! :)

Update: I just received an email from Chuck and he said my order should be going out tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. He has been very busy lately and he apologized for not being in touch.

My experience with him was outstanding. I needed a set of gauntlets for a present to me from my wife by a certain time (very quickly actually) and I got them with plent of time, faster than expected actually. Chuck's a stand up guy as has been said already. Don't worry, he'll come through.

got your pm, td! i am glad to hear the great ref's on chuck...been waiting for my order as well...hate to rush the man when so busy, just disconcerting when you dont hear from someone whom you have paid lots of money too! :)

Ive been waiting for a set of esb gauntlets from chuck for over 8 weeks now. Got an email from him to say his sending them out today. Hes sorry its been so long but hes delayed on other things. So all please be understanding. Chuck is a top chap and his prop work is fantastic.

Chuck is a cool guy. He came through when I needed his emergency assistance. Way to go Chuck!(y)

I also understand your concern TD2253 and you are probably right.

Had many dealings with Chuck, and I agree with Fett Officer. Also, please remember where Chuck lives is very subject and affected by all of this cold, bad, freezing weather we have had recently. Fiberglass resin won't cure correctly unless the temp's are correct and I know Chuck won't do these unless he gets the shop warmed up to the correct temp to cure. Yes, sometimes you must be extremely patient if you want it done correct and by one of the best. So please, watch the weather as it warms up Chuck will start turning this stuff out quickly.

My 2 cents
