QUESTION: Fett for the vertically challenge (aka. short people)

    Hi Guys,

Before I really going deep into Fett stuff, I just want to know if my height will becoming an issue.
I'm the same height as Mark Hamil (About 1.72 meters, or 5.64 feet).

If someone has a picture of someone with the same height wearing a Fett costumer, please do share.

    Thanks in advance.

Well technically Boba Fett is about 6 feet tall and Jango Fett is a little shorter around 5' 9" but don't let that discourage you. It is not that important if you are the same hieght as the character you are portraying. The most important thing is how accurate/convincing your costume is. I am only 5' 5" and I am putting together a Jango costume. I also costume as Anakin and Hayden Christensen is like 6' 1". If I was limited to costuming as a character that was my height I would only be able to do the Emperor (at least for Imperial characters/bad guys).

So, if you want to do Boba cause you like the costume or character then don't sweat it and enjoy the build.

Yeah man, you could pull of a Fett at that height no problem. No one looks bad in armor

It's all about the proportions... if you get the sizing right nobody will think any different..

There are also a couple of cheats you can do. I'm 5' 9" and in costume the top of my helmet stands at 6' even. I wear internal lifts in the shoes (I got mine on ebay) and I pad the helmet up so that I'm looking more out of the center of the T than the top slit. That adds a bit more height and makes sure I have a visible neck

I'm 5'6"...I have about a 1 inch soule put on my shoes plus about a 1.5 inch insert inside my shoes, plus my helmet sits a bit high on my head to show more neck length. I'd say I'm around 5'9" or more once all is said and done.

With Jeremy...he's about 4-5 inches taller than me normally

Alone, marching in the SWW's parades. W/O other troops that close to me, I don't seem too small but I'm sure compared to others that are 6' + I'd look tiny...

And It helps to troop with friends who aren't as tall as they should be for their costumes. I think they look good but we are all a few inches short of being screen accurate.
