A promise is a promise...PICS !!!!!!

Excellent pics, dude!!!
What's going on with the metal plate under the cape?
Is this to keep the cape hung correctly?

Look also at the Jumpsuit. It looks like if the original color was a very light blue (check the inside part of the arm) maybe decolored, bleached or also could have lost the color under heavy sun. You can see this in all the areas were the sun does not reach.....

I did see it even inside the pockets...

¿Light blue?

Who knows

Now that is interesting.... To me it looks like the base is silver, then the orange went over and the masking was removed... then the yellow painted topically around the "damaged" areas.

That's EXACTLY what they did! What I've always assumed all along... that the painting was a mix of topical and layered. Makes me feel so much better about how mine is painted! :cheers

GREAT, GREAT shots!

These are some pretty amazing pictures!

Has TDH ever considered getting a smugmug account to upload all the reference pictures to? (www.smugmug.com) The costs aren't that much, and you can upload full resolution images to the galleries with no limits. Then the users can view the images at any resolution they want. All the resizing is done on the server-side of SmugMug, so all you have to do is upload the high resolution images.

If I'm just repeating something someone else already mentioned, sorry!

This is already in the works. We have a new reference gallery which should be in place very soon.

what is the url for the image archive? I had the old one but it changed and I never got to updating my favorites.

I know.

I lifted the flap on the thigh pocket when the suit was at FIDM back in
Dec 05.
I'm sure I mentioned it
We had unlimited access for a couple hours after closing
We weren't supposed to touch, but no security was there so...

I lifted the flap on the right pocket & it was blue underneath

You are 100% correct. We believe that all the suits started out at roughly the same light blue color as you see on the PP2 suit and that time, harsh sunlight, and not much concern when it came to storage has left the suits not looking as blue as they once were. It really makes one stop and have to look at the RotJ suit as a whole and need to go back to the film to see what color it is there instead of seeing what color it is today.
