A promise is a promise...PICS !!!!!!

Active Hunter
Hello all,

As i told you last week, i went today to the exhibition...

I have around 300 HI/RES pics.. some really good showing amazing details.

I think that the question about how it was painted could be solved, and also some details about how to hold the parts and some others....

I will place here a few hi res pics, so you can see what i am talking about, and some low res. I took Boba and Jango ones.

Hope you like them.

Please TDH admins, give me a place to send them, i will put them on a DVD and mail it the fastest way, so everybody can have them.

If anybody is painting it as in ROTJ.... dont finish it yet !!!

Check how they hold the elastic band with velcro. Or see the number in the white line of the range finder (no transparent glass either). Or the inside of the rockets from the rocket pack. Or... or... or....

Regards

Alfredo

See how the paint (i think) was painted one over the last one (dont know the name of the method) being the light yellow the last one....

Now that is interesting.... To me it looks like the base is silver, then the orange went over and the masking was removed... then the yellow painted topically around the "damaged" areas.

Ok, 264 HiRes pics will be shipped tomorrow towards the USA to be shared to the rest of the World!!!!!

In less than a week (if we are lucky) everybody will have them. Make a good use of them.

Great pics man! Thank's so much for sharing them, I really appreciate it.

The knee shot is intresting, it almost looks like the silver is over the light yellow by looking at the 2 scratch marks that extend out. You can see where the silver is over the yellow right where the two scratches meet the larger damaged portion. Or maybe it was just masked off really well.

I know we've talked about this before. I noticed this back in your original pics you took at M.O.M. Art. That's exactly why I painted my armor just like that. Silver, then the green or yellow (masked off), then the lighter yellow applied afterwards with a small model paint brush.

That knee painting is just being lazy on ILM.

In real life t hat scratch would be silver, lighter yellow, then the final darker yellow. :facepalm

ohh and awesome pics Alfredo!!!
