PROBLEM: BGHUNTER/Jinto

Its my own fault , And yes I have to send Animes mold and I have a helmet here that I need to send away to another owner, once these are gone I will only do parts for my self its just to much hassle finding time for it all , with work and life and so on an considering the time that goes in to the work there is no profit in it your working at a los really so you do it for the love and if you dont love it any more then there is no point
Sorry to hear this James I was hoping to get one of your helmets in the future.
Thanks for all your help and all the bits and pieces I have got from you in the past. I have always found you great to deal with and very helpful with supplies and tips etc, sorry it has come to this. It will be a shame to loose an Aussie manufacturer/supplier of great helmets.

Metadude we speak every week on email , what are you talking about I dont respond I havnt responded to pms cos Ive not been on the forum but I email you once a week, for starters your helmet has been sent,
it took 2 months for a fully painted helmet with interior workings, at a cost less that half of what I usually would charge,

I should have know beter than to deal with you, how many helmet have I sold you and how many pieces have I given you out of the goodnes of my own heart cos I felft sorry for you, some of which you went on to actually sell,
why would you send a measage to one of my family members that is stupid, you and I speak all the time more often than I do to most of my family, When saying Id do the helmet I went against my beter judgment as youve done many things to make me think I shouldnt deal with you , like another of these threads when I hadnt sent you some thing last time some thing which i actually gave you an you only paid the postage for I should have steared clear from you then , and as for pics, no you wanted me to start a thread not just send you pics I didnt want to start a thread 1 cos I dont have time 2 cos I dont come here much at all 3 cos Ive been away for work as you new this but I still managed to paint a full helmet for you whilst I had no time to do so I wrote a long response but its not worth it,

Your last message was today, before that 11th July nearly two weeks, message before that 6th July, yep one week- message before that was the 15th of June. And yes, I acknowledge you've been VERY good to me in the past- I only started getting concerned when I started receiving emails from other members asking where you are. That's when I made this thread.

With any online transaction, the important factor is establishing realistic expectations and trust.

It's the responsibility of the vendor to clearly communicate what a customer can expect from them, give honest and realistic timeframes, and follow through with them. If the deadlines cannot be met it is important to communicate this to the customer and ensure that they can wait for the commission to be completed.

It's the responsibility of the customer to establish these same premises with the vendor and ensure that they understand and agree to the terms of your transaction. If both know what to expect: ie weekly or bi-weekly updates are agreed upon and people are honest and keep up with the services they offer there should be no issue.

What is going on here bud? We have gotten reports from a couple of people about items not having been received?

After sending a message to one of his family members the other day he replied to me and said he sent it, now I'm just waiting for it to arrive either this week or next week

Update:

Got the helmet today, quality is very high but I have absolutely no idea with what the electronics are supposed to do

Is the T-visors lower part warped to your right shoulder (left side on the pic)? It seems not to be straight vertical.

In the movies, If you look close, all of the screen used Boba Fett helmets' T-visor strafed a little to the right. This is because the helmets were hand sculpted so such imperfections were present in almost every helmet in the original star wars trilogy (IE; Vader's helmet from ANH is incredibly lop-sided and almost all stormtrooper's helmets have differences in shaping here and there).

I don't know what helmet Metadude has but a lot of helmet makers implement the lop-sided T-visor and even the "wavy brow" (an imperfection present in the ESB helmet) depending (like Bobamaker's helmet).

Hope this helps.

On another note; it seems like things are starting to get resolved on this thread! Metadude, glad you got your helmet back (two weeks per response to email isn't bad though. This is a hobby for most vendors and they aren't making a living off their services so it is going to take significantly longer than a standard amazon transaction. This is the nature of the beast and it is an understanding we all take when entering the cargo hold). Good luck on your Fett build!

BGHunter, glad to see you back! I know there has been a lot of clamor here and there of folks wondering where you were. Welcome back to TDH!

Thanks Arch,

i know they did real sloppy work on a lot of the stuff, but until now i never noticed that warpage on the BF-Helmet (i´m more blaster related than helmets).

I would imagine that there is either a fan or a RF servo in there. Did you install a RF yet? Cause you can't turn something that isn't there.

If it was going to turn, it would have, batteries are perfectly working as I tested them in other devices after getting no response with the helmet

Well another week has gone and still nothing- I have simply had enough. Apparently he still professes that it has been sent but quite conveniently there is no evidence of that. This is a delivery I paid $100 for and apparently no tracking number can be provided - these are the excuses i'm getting. Well, with a simple check on the Australian Post website it clearly states that for the size and weight of the package it clearly falls in the price bracket for trackable delivery. The ones that dont are less than the $100 I gave, so it seems that the intent was to pocket as much money as possible and pay for the cheapest delivery going- if its been delivered at all.

So after 1.5 years I have received a few excuses, not much contact - none for a 5 month stretch - and watched numerous other commissions started and completed which began well after I first paid for mine. He seemed to have the attitude of 'sod it, he can wait, its not important. I can put his on the backburner and do all of these instead' Why that happened I have no idea? Time after time throughout the period I dealt with BGHunter I have been more than understanding with set backs. But having no contact for close to half a year, not making any effort to contact me when he arrived back and not apologising in any slight way was out of order. Now with nothing delivered I have had enough.

I don't want another helmet made, god knows how long that would take again. I want a full refund, its a simple as that. I am sending this to you're personal e-mail so there is no excuse for no response. Get back to me immediately.

Well I haven't and it gets even more of a joke. The only contact I have got from him in ages recently was to tell me that he will not give me my money back and that nothing was actually sent to me. It has taken him this long to get a back bone and be slightly honest for once. Is this actually going to be tolerated by the Mods and others on this forum?

if he is indeed taking payment and not sending anything ya can ban him from these forums so he at least ceases to hoodwink the members here.

When I get back to my unit in a few days I'll check the package for an address so you can send him a letter

EDIT:

PM sent to you Skelatorious, just realized I brought the box with the details up to my parents house with my xbox in it XD

I finally herd from him once this thread was opened (after 2 months of him ignoring me). He said he would ship my stuff over a week ago. He DIDN'T, and after that one response hes ignoring me again. Im at my wits end with this.
