Pink Ladies build

Active Hunter
Hey guys and gals, some of you may know that I'm building costumes for my daughter (Pink Darth Vader; very sinister Sith Lord) and her mom (Pink Mando) for an upcoming event we're attending. All of this in conjunction with my ESB build.
I thought I'd share some progress pics with you on their builds as well.

I'd love to try something like this. My daughter has been wanting a pink bucket so she can play bounty hunter with her brothers. I like your take on the mando color scheme...and who can't love a tiny pink Vader?

2,
I lucked out and found one of the Target lids on e-bay for not too bad of a price. I see them on there for $150 and on up, and I just think that's ridiculous. They look pretty decent from the outside once the visor is replaced, but they are styrofoam with a VERY thin ABS or some type of plastic on it. I had to cut out the half inch of foam over the key slots so your nose didn't smooth against the visor. But for its purpose, it'll be fine. Of course, someone with your scratch building skills could probably downsize some templates...maybe make a kid sized bucket... which we'd all like to see!

I agree, the Mando colors go nicely together, and that pink vader helmet looks really good too. It's such a clean look with the black eyes. Maybe you get a generic clear light Saber and put a pink light in it or tint.

Pink light saber, yep, that's the plan. Already got that sussed. The cool thing is, I'm scratch building one that should be more durable than the toy version and probably brighter.
Thanks for the comments, I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm really proud of her blaster. Bunch of PVC and a part of a 2X6, that was a lot of fun to build!

Looks great. I, too, have 2 daughters. Though they would not want pink, I like your idea. Cool concept. Show more pics when you can. Enjoy watching work in progress.

Thanks, I'll post up more when I get some progress worth reporting on. These gals are into pink! LOL. Only one daughter and one mommy though. The little one is Vader. Mommy is pink Mando.

Were you guys at Anaheim? I thought I saw a pink vader out there. My daughters are liking this costuming. All for the dark and bad side. Siths and mandos. My wife, well she is just a super big supporter. She helps girls get ready and assist in loading R2 in & out of the SUV. Sounds like you tight family as well. Making memories.
