Opinions on Airbrushes

Hello there fellow Fett fiends and friends! I have read some of the threads on airbrushes and notice that Paasche seems to have a strong following. they also have a high price tag. I did have a Paasche dual-action, internal mix airbrush and never got the hang of it.

I'm thinking about getting a Central Pneumatic for about $13 + tax. See pic below. Here's a link to it on the web:

So here are my questions and yes, I know I'm soliciting opinions and they will vary. Opinions, based on experience, are EXACTLY what I'm after. :)

Does anyone have any experience with this brand of airbrush?

How does it compare to Badger and Paasche?

I will be using an aircompressor in the garage, with a pressure regulator. anything else I need to add to that setup?

I'll be painting my helmet and armor with an airbrush instead of spray paints, because I want to mix my own Tamiya acrylic colors for my armor. Pre-Pro 2, if that matters.

Thanks again for the input. :cheers

i am something of an airbrush snob... i wouldn't get a $13 airbrush. i just wouldn't trust the precision / quality of it.

consider the parts that need to be replaced over time, like then needle. could you get more needles somewhere?

that looks like a badger anthem. the anthem is a nice brush. mine's been chugging along for years.
