Oh you dirty dirty flu vaccine. . . :(

It got me this year. Can't believe it got me. :(
I had the "flu mist" form of the vaccine the middle of this past week and ever since about lunchtime yesterday I've felt like complete junk. Tired, achy, and I didn't know the human head could contain so much liquid. Fortunately it's all running right out of those 2 holes between my mouth and my eyes. . . :facepalm
Bleah.

Anyone else get a lovely flu vaccine yet this year?

Sorry, can't say I have. In fact, I never do since I'm deathly allergic to eggs, and they are all cultured on egg, it would most likely have a very nasty effect.
I can also say I rarely get the flu and I don't personally see the point of the vaccine.

I've never gotten a flu vaccination, and fortunately it's been quite some time since I've had the flu. However, the swine flu seems to hit people in their 20's to 50's or something like that. I'm 42, so I'm starting to think about getting the H1N1 vaccination.

In the military we sort of have to get innoculated. *Shrug*
Anyway, I'm feeling much better today. I actually started feeling better late last night. Weird.
I mean, my nose fell off my face, and I glow in the dark now. . . but that's normal, isn't it?

Yah, I think I too fell victim. so far I've been able to keep plugging. It's been 5 days for me and I still feel like garbage :angry This is the first year I've done it since 1999. And it got me then too - but REALLY bad. So I'm feeling lucky this time.

Although I did say I'd never do it again after that

My last Flu shot was in 90 when i was in the Army.
got the flu from it, so I never get one now
I'd rather take my chances on getting it than receive a shot and definitely get it.

Back in '99 when my daughter was born my wife and I got the flu vaccine and we had never been so sick for so long in all of our lives....it lasted alllll winter. I'd have rather gotten the flu. Never again..............................
