Wondering how to get the trust around here??? So I can get my grubby little green nubs on Natty Fett MSH ver 1 or 2 helmet.. Enjoying the extensive photo and text work of others. Kissing alot of butt at this very moment. Glad to have found a site like this. Looks like the kind of cult *cough* community I wanna join.

Good luck on your quest. Only ~20 of the MSH helmets were made. I own 2 of them, and I think I could guess who the other 18 owners are.

You might have better luck trying to get a MSH2, although I don't know what the waiting list looks like for those. :facepalm

I'm lazy, so I'll just post a pic of it here. I think I might have some more somewhere...

The fingers work and everything. I have enough parts to build 5 or 6 more of them if I get REALLY bored.

with my move behind me and other projects completed i'm back to focusing on the fett. thanks to TDH for inspiring me and renewing my interest in the fett costume!

on the burner is:

MSH helmet - its a first gen MSH and i've had it for a long time. i've got some clean up to do on it then its time for paint which i am going to attempt myself.

new chest, collar, back plate, and cod piece paint job. i've been meaning to do this for at least 2 years. now its time to get some use out of that air brush of mine.

further down the line are chest armor upgrades(its time for something more accurate) and new gauntlets. i may upgrade my knees but thats the last thing on my list.

Daily: Hasbro Blaster parts for conversion, replica Sterling parts, (2) MGC metal replicas like the one I just completed below. (able to post on my break time... siiip! Ahh good java!)

2 British Sterling rebuilds, 3 M19 scopes, 4 Sterling folding stocks, and much, much more!!

For myself: Eventually repaint my DP Fett Helmet, Convert my MGC to ROTJ E-11, 3 custom Acrylic display cases for my e-11's, Finish my Graflex Luke ANH, (actually, my wife will confiscate that for her Jedi costume for Cel. 3!!!

I bought some small sharpening files and fine tuned the visor area and vent openings on the back side to near perfection. I added some fiberglass matting under my helmet to cover a hole where the right earpiece goes. Still drying. Next I'll be bondo'ing, filling,and sanding! Thanks Mr. Dwedd for the tips.

I've taken my Jango project out of the backburner. Gonna try and have it done within a couple of months.

I'm just doing research because my costume is at home. I plan on really working on it this summer. priorites include....

1)Replacing visor in Rubies Jango and give new paint job
2)Build third jet pack (the "spring Break" one might be
bartered for my new vest.)
3)Repainting Armor
4)Make ammo pouches.
5)Make knee and shoe armor.
6)Work on giving gauntlets a major overhaul.

And most importantly...




7) Find logical and worth while reason why I am compelled to build this thing in the first place

I'm working on my Snowtrooper armor kit. I have all of the soft parts. The backpack looks like it's going to be a pain in the butt to build.
I'm also deeply involved with finishing my ESB Fett costume. I'm still waiting on friends who are helping me to paint my jet pack, knee pieces + gauntlets. I also need a pair of movie accurate Fett boots badly! Hopefully I can get on the future 2nd run by Jango_Wes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Other than those items, I'm ready to start trooping as Fett! Once that happens, My TK armor will be put away for a while.

Figure I'd post on this since I'm now knee deep (excuse the armor pun) in Fett.I've begun painting my ESB ensemble and it is a beeyotch....I always thought ESB was easy......WRONG!! Since there are about 627 million ways to shade green...getting it to look like the screen used set isn't easy.After 2 Troopers,1 Luke Bespin,1 Han ANH,Fett will complete my skills AND my patience
