As usual I'm a little late on this but it's because of my job. I'm a middle school P.E. teacher and the 7th grade football coach. Once school starts for the first three months I have no life outside of work, with exception to my historical fencing practices and tourneys. Maybe one day I'll actually make some considerable progress on my Fett suit.

(sidenote we won our first game this morning 36-6.)

I was lucky enough to land a job as a graphic artist in my home town about 15 years ago. I worked in the press room for the first year then moved to table artist the next year. After about 8 years we got rid of the tables and went to computers. We have been a MAC based company since then.
Main program used, Adobe Illustrator.

I am a special fx artist and puppeteer for film/tv. I also do freelance sculpting for toy companies and private comissions displays on the side.

I started as a framer, then trim carpenter, then cabinet maker, then drafter, now...I am a Project MAnager/Designer for a local millwork and casework company. Basically, I take architects basic detail drawings and I make them feasable shop plans.

Kinda boring but it keeps me busy until ILM decides that they need me for something...

i work at a gross. store. (i hate it) i go to collage at night. im going to computer programming.

I am a Police Officer in southeast Tennessee. Currently I am on our tactical team as a door breecher/shotgunner. Been doing this since 1994, seen a lot, but I can't think of anything else that I would rather be doing. I may never be rich but I did not get into it for the money. Nice to know that I am in good company here on TDH.

Seriously, this will be a time and money consuming hobby (with either Fett in this case). It's complicated and detailed. NOTE: Read the posts of your interest, specially the OLD ones (4-5 pages back from present or last posts) to look for the answers you're looking for, before you post a question that has an answer and is there somewhere (even with pics or tutorials sometimes).

Not really, I've got one too. Got it 4-5 years ago.

I work in the receiving department for a large medical research company. My wife also works here in the metrology department, she working on an Aurra Sing costume (she is so pale we have to darken her skin for the correct look).

Previously I was a manager for Uhaul. I worked in one in Baltimore MD. It was a pretty rough area, I knew most of my county police by name as they were always in the store. We used to sit on our building roof with a pellet gun and take pot shots at hookers using our trucks to turn tricks.

Before that I had quite a few odd jobs mostly in fast food but my 2nd favorite of all time was working in a Halloween shop (bastiches still owe me two paychecks).

My favorite job is raising my daughter named after my favorite female jedi, Mara Jade.

Graphic Designer, I design catalog pages. Also do Illustrations and Photoshop work.

When I made my first post back on pg.5, I was unemployed. BUT, since the beginning of March, I work in an office that does the substance abuse assessments for the county I live in. I also work at a friend's pizza place on the side sometimes.

I am a Soil Scientist.

I work for the Missouri Soil and Water Conservation Program for the Cooperative Soil Survey. By Day.

By Night A Soil Scientist private consultant. I look at a persons soil and tell them what kind of Septic System they need. So you can say if people did not have to poop I would not have much of a carrer. My buisness is going down the drain LOL I'm a member of the Poopstopo. You can't poop here. LOL

OK enough for the puns.

But also my job as a soil scientist has made me become a GIS expert with ESRI and Manifold. So I am becoming a computer geek also.

My hobbies are Star Wars and Jeeps.

I have a 98 Jeep TJ with 5" of lift 33" tires, detroit locker in rear lock rite in front, 4.88 gears, heavy duty skid plating. Ready to rock with 4 mad squirels under the hood.

For the past two years my job was catching shop lifters for a large retail company. I had a lot of fun doing this for a living, but eventually got a little burned out. Any apprehensions I made under $500 got to be boring. I started looking for something more rewarding... and I found it.

I am now a police officer in Sedalia, Missouri. I got the call that I had been accepted December 16th. I start at the Academy on January 5th. I am very excited and can't wait to get started in my new career. I know a lot of Fett-aholics are in law enforcement, and I only have one question: how do I convince the department to add jet packs and/or gauntlets to the uniform?

I'm a Civil Servant working on an Air Force base in Canada. I'm out of work at the end of this month (May 04), and I'll either end up in the Human Resources field or as a clerk in the Air Force full-time. I spent over six years in the Canadian Army Reserves as a Radio Operator.

I also do a bit of web design on the side.

I tried out for the Winnipeg Police Force about two years ago. Passed the POPAT, passed the aptitude test, bombed the interview. No worries - the military pay is better, and so is my current salary

(Well, my current salary is going to drop something fierce when I start collecting pogey, but that'll free up some time to hang out with my 2-year-old son and play SOCOM 2 more than I ought to...)

Graduated @ the top of the class in industrial design - had a chance to go to the Art Center - but met my first wife...

Currently residing as 4th generation in a family hardwood business, also owner of a motorsports co. - hired racer (when someone caughs up the cashola) & campaign my own car all by my lonesome (when sponsors cough up the cashola)...

I am a Sound Designer working for EA games in Chicago, IL. I am currently working on Def Jam: ICON which is coming out for Xbox 360 and PS3 in March 07.

For me its the only thing Ive ever wanted to do, and I just graduated last May so I could not be happier.

I ride a BMW 1200RT-P and get to write a lot of tickets. I also investigate traffic collisions.

howd you get a bmw? most cops i know get either a kowasaki or yamaha... and at least one had a harley

Right now I'm interning as a product designer at a high end home furnishings catalog based out of Cincinnati (previously I've interned at Fisher-Price, a medical instrument place, and Hasbro). At Night I'm a mechanic for a local Police Department here in Cincy. Once this intern quarter is over it'll be back to Full time college student majoring in Industrial Design.

It's California Kawasaki doesn't make a police bike anymore, LAPD bought the last 50 about a year ago, and Harley's are horrible for police work during the hot summers of the central valley, not to mention they're slow.

Well with everyone having such cool careers I'm embarrassed to say what I do, which is little or nothing. I've been disabled since 1996 after acquiring a disease of the nervous system called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome-it's alotta fun. Hopefully one day soon we'll be able to get the pain controlled enough so that I can either go back to school or find something else to do to earn a meaningful living...Before becoming ill, I worked building homes in the local/Cincinnati area. Oh yeah, hi Lonewolf-we're neighbors!
