People... instead of complaining that your pictures aren't getting posted.... TELL ME. Did no one read the post a few up where I said I'm the webmaster for the Legion site now?

I can ask the GMLs for your Garrison why they aren't posting your pictures if you tell me in an email! If you had a clue just how many pictures and emails I get in a single day asking to be posted you'd understand why they get lost in the shuffle. If you tell me and give your BOARD NAME as well as your real name, Garrison and ID number I can help you! Just ask half the people here who's pics are shown in this very thread!

I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk but I'm getting sick of seeing these sarcastic comments about pics not being posted. Its not like I'm chained to my computer 24/7 and have no life. I don't have all the time in the world to devote to doing other people's jobs for them. Especially if I'm not made aware of the situation! The GMLs and GWLs of the individual Garrisons are supposed to be doing this work. If their not doing the job they signed up to do then I NEED TO KNOW!

Congrats! Did your GWL make those pics or did you make them yourself. Reason I'm asking is because if your GWL doesn't have them, I can post these on the Legion site for you. If you've already sent them to your GWL then I don't want to step on his/her toes. Let me know.

I sent them the raw pics. The TK who runs our squadron website did the framed and photoshoped pics up for me.
On that note, I sent in my pics on like Tuesday and got my approval on Thursday. ****!!! That's got to be some kind of speed record!

Nah... I actually created those when I was unsuspectingly given ownership of a 501st detachment, the MEPD! Pretty funny when you consider I am not even a 501st member!

And while it looks like I have a tan I am just blushing cause I have one hot chick by my side in that pic.... my favorite pic from D*C 2003.



I appreciate the offer to join. I get it from the GA501st about once a year or so as well. While I have a lot of respect for the 501st, it is just not my thing.

Aside from cons, it's the only time I get to costume with (somewhat) like-minded people. If we all could costume 24/7, I doubt I'd be a member myself. It's just a means to an end, personally. I love the charity events too. I don't have much money to give to charities, so costuming and supporting an event is my small way of "giving back".

Just to clear things up a bit here... I'm no longer the 501st Legion webmaster. I resigned from the job last year. I was afraid that when this old thread got dug up I'd hear from people about their pics again and I have. Its no problem and I'll help people the best I can but I'm not in the same position I used to be. If you have photos that you want uploaded to the 501st website then I recommend you go to the site, look up your Garrison Web Liaison from the Garrisons page and email them. Thanks!

Have you tried emailing our web liasion directly? That usually works better than trashing the garrison on the open forum. Just a suggestion.

If your email address is different than the one you used to join the legion with, you'll need to contact your Garrison Member Liaison to update it. Elections are going on right now for a New LCO and the poll will be closed on Feb. 14th.

Also, if you are registered on the forums, what is your username there? I just found a couple people there that I recognize from TDH, but I'm sure there are more. I also go by Skalen Fehl there.

I'm an offical 501st member, BH-1941... just not in the way most people are :-P I don't rally have a photo, but I'm the 501'st official photographer.

I was in the 501st as a TK & BH. I had been deployed overseas in the Navy, so I'm just getting back to these boards.
I want to sell my Fett, but I have to post a few times to be able to post in the Cargo Hold.

I used to be on here and bought most of Fett from reputable sellers and thru bobamaker.

I have almost everything to sell, save maybe the jumpsuit and neck collar.

My helmet is a professionally painted "mystery helmet."
